My family and I recently attended a roller derby bout/game at Skate South. When we arrived, there was no where to park besides across the street in an unpaved lot with no one directing traffic or helping the people cross this fairly busy road. I think the actual parking lot of Skate South could hold...maybe...25 cars, but that might be pushing it. After we made our journey across the street, through the insanely unorganized ""ticket sales"" line and into the building, we noticed there was no place to sit! We didn't know that we had to pay $12.00 a ticket to bring our own chairs! Next, the kiddos wanted something from the concession stand, where we waited...again...in a rather large line that didn't seem to move at all for some over priced snacks and the workers were not polite, but rather acted like it was an inconvenience to help us with our order. My last complaint...and the most disturbing...the restrooms! At half-time, I took my daughter to the restroom where the line was so long you couldn't see the actual bathroom. Once we got through the line, I noticed that there were only two stalls and neither of which are for the handicapped. I crammed me and my child into the available stall where I also noticed that the door didn't have a lock on it and wouldn't stay shut without assistance. The toilet was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months! I'm just glad that our experience at Skate South is over and we will not be returning for any reason!
