I am the owner of Sinclair's Auto Clinic and I am very upset with this attack on my business. I know exactly who this person is and that is not how the conversation went. I have several members of my business that can also account for the particulars of the conversation. I have been in business for a very long time and all of my work and the job of my workers is guaranteed, when the problem is our fault. In addition, any part that we install is NAPA certified. This particular car was very old and rusted. I spoke with this man's mother and discussed my concerns with the condition of the car. They decieded to repair the brakes & replace the rotted brake line that was leaking at this time. I also told them that the rest of the lines were rusted but not leaking at the time of present service. Some time later, when I received the call from this man I said tow it to the shop and we will take a look at it. If the problem is our repair service or the parts, we were happy to pay for the tow and the repair. I also let the man know that it may be the other brake lines that he was told were rusted. If that was the case, I would not pay for the tow and their would be service charges. His mother then came in and I advised her that he could go to any NAPA Auto Care Center to have the car repaired if it was the same repair Sinclair's Auto Clinic did. NAPA guarantees all their products. I never heard from the man or his mother again after that. I was never able to check my work and let him know the results of my findings because the car never returned to my shop. I do not appreciate the lies that put a negative outlook on my business. I have soley survived on word of mouth and been in business for 30 years.
