i recently went to shirlenes....thé food was ok.....my wife found à long blonde haïr in her salad, n thé prime rib was way over done...r server was thé kindest, most friendliest server i have ever had or have hired....i own à fine dinning restaurant in Chicago n i would luv to have her working for me.....actually i offered her à job......she said Thank you but her heart is up north.......if it wasnt for Pamela i would never stop back again.....u have à réal gem there.... more

I love Shirlenes 10/30/2008

Shirlene's is a great family restuarant run by a family. Shirley and her daughter Darlene, most commonly referred to as Dar started the restaurant together. Over the years, more family members have worked there, including Dar's son, Roger, and Roger's son, Mike, also Roger's wife, and Mike's girlfriend of 5 or so years, Emily. I love Shirlene's it is just a great place to be, with a great atmosphere. Very family friendly atmosphere. I give Shirlene's 5 stars! more

Old fashioned 8/9/2005

Shirlenes is your typical dinner. It has good food and reasonable prices. While not extraordinary in any ways, it is not a bad choice, especially for breakfast. It is close to many nearby hotels and this makes it a nice place to stop to eat on weekend mornings if you are staying in town. Not bad at all!! more

Shirlene's had the BEST club sandwich that I have ever had!!! The staff is pretty nice and helpful, but a little slow on the refills, at times. My husband likes it there because they have caffeine free diet coke and most restaurants only have regular diet coke. It's easy to get in and out of the parking lot, and it's right off the highway. more

Excellent food. Their waiting staff isnt the fastest or the nicest, but the food makes up for it. Very good fish, and very good club sandwich. Nice little mom and pop restaurant. The price of the food is reasonable, better than a chain restaurant. Smoking and Non Smoking rooms. Easy in and out, right off the highway. more

Food 7/28/2005

Shirlene's Cuisine in Midland has great food and a good atmosphere. This is the place to go for a great "home cooked" meal. They serve a great lunch and dinner. Kids are welcome and will also enjoy their food. They offer a full range menu to please anyone and great prices for any budget. more
