My daughter LOVES Sherwood Dance Academy. This is her second year. She is 3 years old and started when she was 2. She is a really shy girl but she really comes out of her shell when she is in dance class. We had her in the Leap N Learn Class with Lisa which was an amazing class. They have so many unique and interesting techniques they use to teach the kids dance moves. My husband and I were both amazed. And Lisa was amazing with the kids. She loved teaching them and it truly showed.
Now, our daughter dances everywhere. And we have her signed up in the Pre-ballet/Tap/Jazz class with Rachelle. I was worried that our daughter would be shy around a new teacher but Rachelle made her feel so comfortable.
And the classes are affordable. Liana (the owner) is very helpful and flexible (I tested her many times with my special orders and class changes). They are always more than happy to accommodate us.
I highly recommend this dance studio. And the recital is amazing. Even my shy little 3 year old got up on stage without me and smiled through her whole dance. I was so proud!
