Indulge! 8/1/2006

Go to Sheridan's, and you can plan on indulging. While a rich, smooth "scoop" (Served soft-serve style) of chocolate or vanilla custard is a delicious treat, its hard to resist the fancy sundae combinations or custard's claim to fame, the "concrete." Conretes are like a blizzard, something you definitely have to use a spoon for. While they run up to $5, they are definitely worth the splurge or are perfect for sharing. They have all kinds of house favorite "recipes," or you can create your own with any of the tons of toppings they offer. My new favorite is the Wedding Concrete--- vanilla or chocolate custard with a piece of cake smashed in. SO RICH, SO INDULGENT, SO DELICIOUS AND SO VERY WORTH IT! more

Large Frozen Treats and Good Hot Dogs 12/14/2005

Sheridan's has a huge selection of concretes as they call them, which is their frozen custard, a little too sweet for my taste, but they can make up all kinds of goodies from milkshakes to sundaes and floats. The hot dogs are served on tasty wheat buns and they'll even fix you a fresh squeezed lemonade or limeade. Great treats on those hot summer days. more

Delicious, fun place to go! 10/14/2005

Sheridan's is a fun place to go, the custard is outstanding, and the atmosphere is great. Especially at night, the bright lights and outdoor congregating crowds make a fun event for the whole family. What a treat, especially during the summer! more

Frozen Custard comes to the NW 8/28/2005

I heard that this is the only frozen custard shop in the Pacific NW. It's a little bit different than frozen yogurt or ice cream. Delicious! We were there last weekend with many others standing in line. It has an outside eating or drive thru service only. Sheridan's serve a variety of Concretes, (think glorified Blizzard) including ones that you can create yourself. My favorite is the Grant's Grasshopper. more
