Sheraton La Jolla Hotel

You won't think you are in a three star hotel at this gem of a property. It's set up resort style with lush, gorgeous grounds, resort like pool and outdoor hot tub. Service is top notch and its nearby to a shopping center with Whole Foods, a movie theater and a Sprinkles cupcake bakery. more

Outside of downtown La Jolla, and easy to get to. The decor was nice and the food was good. The service was a little slow, but we had a large group. There was plenty of parking. more

I recommended this hotel to a friend who was coming in from out of town. She didn't really like it-\r \r It's not a great location and the service wasn't up to par.\r \r Too bad- because we could use a nice Westin or Sheraton in La Jolla. more

absolutely do not waste your money here! the consierge is obnoxiously rude and uncaring, let alone barely speak english (not an issue in general, but so if you're trying to get information or understand them). La Jolla proper is famous for it's stuck up attitude, but I was shocked to be privy to it at one of their establishments. we canceled our reservations and stayed elsewere. Better!! We were very happy when we ate at Humphrey's. This grill is conveniently located, easy to get in to with a menu that's pretty diverse. Did get a litle crowded, but the food was served relatively quickly. more

My dad stays here every time he comes to La Jolla to visit me. The location is really convenient for those visiting UCSD.\r If you have the VIP standing you have access to their lounge which has a nice selection of fresh fruit and appetizers. The cookies that they give out when you check in are really good too. more

I worked with this hotel to have a small retreat there in October. They were very helpful to work with and very accomodating. We had the benefit of being the only group there that weekend but I think that you would be treated the same no matter how many other people were there. The rates that they gave me were incredible for that area and for the meeting rooms that we needed. The location was very nice. Not as close to the beach as one would like but still a very quiet area. The rooms are very nice and have recently been completely renovated. I didn't have any complaints from our group at all on the accomodations and that is amazing! I would highly recommend this hotel for a group meeting or just for a relaxing vacation and a reasonable price. more

We stayed here while doing a conference for a group of about 30. The staff was helpful (they give you fresh cookies when you check in. yummy). The location is great. Its not right near the ocean but its a quick drive to the ocean, close to parks and restaurants. UCSD is very close a great place to stay if visiting the campus or visiting a friend at school there. more
