Commercial, but Still Awesome 2/23/2006

Seven Falls is one of my favorite Colorado Springs attractions. Even the excessive commercialism cannot mask the natural grandeur of this site. You'll climb about a bazillion steps to get to the top, but it will be well worth it. (You can take an elevator up the first part to the observation deck, but if you want to go all the way to the top, then hoofing it is your only option.) The falls are splendid; we went last summer and then returned again at night (there is no charge for extra visits on the same day) to see the colored light display. Hokey, but beautiful. I wouldn't advise coming here with really young ones. You'll end up carrying them up the stairs and the falls won't hold their interest for long. The gift shop is about what you'd expect and the service is nothing to write home about, but nonetheless, if you like nature, I'd give Seven Falls a go. more

Okay.. Wouldn't recommend 12/13/2005

Seven falls is a well known tourist attraction in the Colorado Springs area. The falls turns in seven directions and hence the name. They light the falls at night. The falls is very small and the only thing about the falls is the seven steps. I was not very much impressed with the place and felt it was waste of time and money. more

Amazing! 11/17/2005

Seven Falls, a popular tourist attraction in the Colorado Springs area is both inexpensive and highly entertaining. The falls twists and turns in seven directions and it’s amazing to see it. At night, they light the falls and the falls looks good then also. The parking is a bit far from the falls so it can be quite a walk on weekends when the visitors are more. more

Waterfall lovers, dont miss this 8/20/2005

This park is home to a 181 foot waterfall that is goes down in seven distinct steps (hence the name). There are stairs that take you up to the top of the falls. You can then take a hike along one of the two trails. One is a mile long and the other is 1/2 mile. At night they light up the falls with colored lights. It is so beautiful, I proposed to my wife at the top of the falls (no joke). more
