I live in Manhattan and have been to countless spas all over the city. I recently was visiting a friend on Long Island and we wanted to relax. We were told to try Serenity and told it was something we could not miss out on. Appointments were necessary but the owner, Anne, said if she has time she's always willing to stay late or come in early. It was BY FAR the best facial I have ever had in my life. She used great products and completely changed my skin! I was absolutely glowing when i left! The spa is very small and exclusive and she only takes one client at a time and gives you her absolute 100% attention. The place is immaculate and beautifully decorated. You could tell she puts her whole heart into this place and serving her clients. The shop even has a boutique in the front of it! Cute jewelry and bags for great prices. Even the services are very inexpensive compared to other salons. She has so many services, even a cellulite reducing machine ! You can tell she really loves her clients! The only drawback is it is behind a storefront around the back. It looks like it is a bad location but in reality it is the BEST location for a spa. It is so hidden that it promotes its exclusive feeling even more. I felt like a celebrity with the amount of attention and privacy I was given. I cannot speak highly enough about this place. I will definitely be taking the LIRR ride in from the city just for this!
