The restaurant charged us for food and drinks we did not order. When I confronted the owner, he was not helpful and reluctant to apologize. He said that ""it happens"".

Food is good, a bit pricey, but RUDE staff! I asked if I could sit by the window after they seated us in the middle, which I'm uncomfortable with. They said no. They never checked on us once during the meal to ask if anything was okay, they just dropped the food off and hurried off. more

Current fave Korean food spot 3/29/2010

Even though this is a little bit of a drive for me, Seoul Garden is my current favorite place for Korean food. I've tried the al tang, soon doo boo, and kalbi tang here. Have never been disappointed. Having been there so many times, the only thing is the service is inconsistent. The soon doo boo used to be served with a raw egg that you crack yourself, but no more. The meal used to end with shike, but no more. In the case with food service at restaurants, I'm not sure ""it's better to have had and lost than to never have had at all"" applies. With that being said, still love what I get there. Pros: authentic food, good selection Cons: inconsistent service more

Very authentic 5/8/2009

I'm half Korean and this is my second favorite place to eat Korean. Cho Sun Ok is my favorite place but if it's a special occasion or if I am taking someone to eat Korean for the first time, I choose Seoul Garden. Their barbecue will seem very expensive but you get a ton of side dishes, rice and hot barley tea in the deal. It's a fun place to take friends and drink. The barbecue dishes are great with alcohol. Try Hite Korean beer - it's dry and crisp. Pros: Table top Barbecue, great soups Cons: Barbecue can be expensive more

Delicious Korean with fast service, great for a couple or a group 11/10/2008

There isn't a finer Korean restaurant in the triangle than this one. They take care of you very well, the food is great (Ojingo Bokum, Kalbi, Bulgogi, Soups) and will have you coming back for more. Great atmosphere and wonderful people. Pros: The best food, great service and atmosphere. Cons: In North Raleigh more

Probably my favorite restaurant in Raleigh! 8/22/2008

I ADORE Korean food, and I was thrilled with Seoul Garden. I recommend reserving a table with a tabletop barbeque (you probably need a party of at least 4 to do this) and cooking your food at your table. My kids love this place, although I wouldn't recommend letting little kids cook their own food! Good service, even at peak times, who will refill your salad dishes, which come free with your meal. These side dishes can vary, and might be a little ""challenging"" for the average American palate, but they are always delicious. I recommend the beef shortribs BBQ, but every dish we've cooked at our table has been outstanding. The clientele is mostly Korean, as far as I've seen, which just confirms for me what my taste buds say about the quality and authenticity of the food. The decor is nothing exciting, but the restaurant is clean and open. I recommend this restaurant for families who want to expand their children's palates! They think cooking their own food is so great, they probably won't complain that it's not McDonalds. Pros: Great food, family friendly more

The place for korean in RTP so far.... 1/25/2008

I wouldn't go anywhere else in the area for Korean food, pretty much evey dish we had there has been really good. I've had korean at many places, its definitely good, no idea what the guy saying the kalbi is bland is talking about, my inlaws are korean and they really dig the place. He says it right in the first paragraph, that place is where you find the asian people, and that is all you need to know. more

Clean, affordable, good Korean food. 11/14/2007

We love eating at Seoul Garden. The service is good, the place is clean, and the food is fantastic. Their prices are also very reasonable and there is always a good mix of people eating there. So far, this is the best Korean place I've been to in the Triangle. more
