I went here last night with my best friend to get pierced, and was pleasantly surprised. I'd never heard of Second Chance, and our decision was very last minute and abrupt. When we got there we were immediately welcomed, and the experience was full of laughs. He's thorough, informative, and VERY VERY sanitary. Paul is a totally awesome fellow, and his artwork is nothing short of impeccable. more

Paul Stoner is the best artist around BAR NONE. Ive been to him four or five times great guy even better artist.He really took the time & effort to make sure the tattoo came out great.I will only go to 2nd chance in gallatin & have paul do work on me Since tattoos are for life & only the best artists should be putting them on your body. Will defintely be back!!! more

I've been going to Paul since 1997 and he has done 9 of my 11 tattoos. I wish I had gone to him for all of them because neither of my other ones compare to his work. I have a Cross tattoo on the side of my neck that Paul has done and of course I get comments about it all of the time and the work is so good everyone that sees it asks where I got it and tell me how vibrant and colorful it is. When I tell them it has been there for 11 years they are amazed it still looks like it had just been done, and of course when they ask where I had it done I say Second Chance Tattoo! I have been to Paul four times now and every time he has taken the time to design unique pieces according to what I am looking for. He takes his time and tries to please every customer that walks through his doors, which is made evident by the numerous awards he has received throughout his career that he has displayed in his parlor. I have one flash tattoo and three entirely custom tattoos and everyone has resulted in a wonderful piece. My latest piece, a chest piece, is one of the finest tattoos I have ever seen. Paul worked extremely hard to make the tattoo perfect. I was in his studio for 12 hours (three for design and nine for the actual tattoo) and he charged only 600 for a piece that others would have charged 1000+. He took his time and despite undercharging me for hourly work, made sure that the tattoo was done right without ever rushing. When you enter Paul's studio you have the choice to listen to any music you would like to, although his musical tastes are great for getting a tattoo. At his old parlor you had the option of watching movies while getting your tattoo, and he is currently working on that for his new location.\r \r Bottom line: When you choose Paul Stoner for a tattoo you are getting unmatched quality and an unmatched price for a true piece of artwork. He's a great guy and is much more amiable than the guys from Second Skin (who the owner was Paul's understudy). I have tattoos from both and I will never go anywhere else again for a tattoo because the experience is just not the same. Paul should be the only choice for your tattoo experience if you live close enough for his shop to be an option. I will recommend him to anyone who is looking to get a tattoo, no matter the subject matter. He is simply the best. I got my first tattoo recently. Paul did it, It's amazing. He took his time and explained everything clearly. I can't wait to go get another. My friend went directly after me and got one and he was thrilled. Highly recommend. Also Margi (a woman that works there) is an amazing artist to. She's going to do my next tat. Was sent here by a friend for a cover up..Paul gave me the run around for 2 weeks on drawing something for me.I was in the shop 3 times and it was never busy.If my cover up was too much for him or he just can't draw, honesty would have been appreciated. I feel like I was disrespected and my time was wasted. I have since been to Lone Wolf in Lebanon and am now happy with my cover up. Pros: no wait Cons: no skill more

I got my first tattoo from Paul. Since then I've gotten tattoos from other places but none have been as beautiful or such a pleasant experience as my first (and my first tattoo is on my foot). One of those tattoo's I got from somewhere else turned out horribly. I thought I was stuck with this ugly tattoo. Then I thought of Paul and made the trip to Gallatin from Antioch. He is truly an artist not just someone who can trace pictures. He was able to take my horrible tattoo and make the most beautiful piece I've ever had that also had a lot of meaning to me. Paul spent alot of time working to make my piece the best he possible. He helped me pick a design that really worked for what I wanted. He stayed at the shop till 2:30 in the morning working on my tattoo. I will never go to any other shop. Paul and his crew are the absolute best. I went into this shop with a faded tattoo from another shop that I had gotten recently. Alan was amazing and made me an original design. Paul actually did my tattoo, and almost a year later it still looks amazing! I now go here for all my work! If you want an award winning shop, this is the place to go!!!
