Sea Gypsy Motel

Our room was decent, and right on the beach. The halls of the motel were dark and not very clean. Price was decent. Close to area restaurants and shops.There were as many dogs there as people. They were allowed to run around in the hall with no leashes, also on the beach. There are signs to keep them on leashes but no one staying there could read, evidently. You could sit on the patio and watch the ocean, but you also had to watch the dogs crap right in front of you, since the doggie doodoo area is in the patch of grass right outside the rooms. I do not hate dogs, it is their owners that are stupid and rude. This should be advertised as a dog motel, welcome to bring their owners, as long as they keep them on a leash, bucause it appeared that most of the dogs were smarter than their owners. Obviously, I will not be staying again. We had made our reservation for two days, but only stayed one. more

If you are looking for a beach front hotel/studio this is the place to come. We stayed here and had an ocean front studio, with a full kitchen and a view of the whole beach. This place is pretty awesome and affordable. The pool is a little small but who needs a pool when you are right on the beach!! This place is great for families. more

This is the place we stay at every time we go to Pismo Beach. It's comfortable and convenient, with both the beach and restaurants nearby. With a fridge and a microwave in each room, one can easily go to the store and purchase things for meals to eat in the room or on the beach. The staff is friendly and hospitable, always welcoming with a smile. This motel is worth every penny that might be spent on it. more
