DO NOT LEASE from John Hurry and Scottsdale Capital unless you want to get seriously taken for a ride.
Myself and half of the other tenants in his building experienced a tripling of CAM charged from the year previous to when he did not own the building. When Hurry was questioned about it, he claimed that his attorneys could research the matter at $450 an hour that the tenant would have to pay for.
John Hurry did not maintain the building as per the lease. The ROOF RAT problem became a serious liability when super sized mouse traps were placed by his people around most of our offices. The roof rat were chewing through our T-1 lines and cost us significant fees to have the lines re-ran. This lasted for months.
Our office space experienced massive roof leakages every time is rained for over a year. The water stained ceiling panels were left by his crew for over 45 days until we threatened to forwarded re-occurring requests to our attorneys.
He simply could care less about his tenants. BEWARE: He will screw you from all directions.
