Scissors-N-Suds Boarding

The owner of S@S is not truthful. I boarded my little bird with her for 10 days and when I picked him up his foot was bloody and there was mold in his dry water dish. Also she promised she would never put my dog in a crate because she was terrified of them. That turned out to be a lie also. The next time I went to pick her up from a nail trimming the owner did not see me pull into the driveway and I heard my little dog crying and barking. The owner quickly let her out of a broom closet and said it was cooler in there. Needless to say I will never take her back there. Also the owner runs a puppy farm, she always has some kind of puppy for sale. I also heard that she breeds ferrets witch is against the law in SC. If you love your animal be aware of S@S! more

We took our shi tzus Lil'Ty who is 2 years old and Dahlia who is 5 yrs. We have had them since they were pups. We have had them at numerous groomers since my job till recently took me all over the US. We had been going to pet smart since Tys first cut. We tried a couple others only once . I told my husband this was quite a lot less costly. Everything was included they came running out to greet us. They had a very short summer cut we asked for and appeared happy and healthy. They were tired the rest of the evening as they always are after grooming. They look and smell so good . I just called and let them know how happy my husband and I were and we will probably use the boarding facilities in the near future since we travel with a company that does not allow pets. Just wanted to note that this wasn't the Scissors-N-Suds in Canyon Lake Texas. They are very considerate and loving to their animals and great groomers. more

We boarded our hound dog with them for two months in the transition of moving to the Aiken area. She went there at 54lbs and was returned to us at 36lbs. She was emaciated and dehydrated. I wish it were legally possible to do the same thing to the owners of Scissors and Suds. Our pets are like our children and for someone to treat them otherwise (and receive money for it) should be and is a crime. Don't let them do the same to you! more

i hope people take my advise and never use this place. they lie and do not take care off your pet. i can tell you from my personal experience with them. if you are smart you will go somewhere else more

what a terrible place. would never use again. my dogs were shaking every time i took them there. i realized after a year how badly my dogs were treated. i was lied to on where my dogs were sleeping and how they were being washed. one off my dogs still has a disorder even after 2 years off not going ther more

This is the worst business I've ever seen. My 54lb dog weighs 36lbs after two months in their care, using the word loosely here. Another month and she would have been history. This place SUCKS! Pros: NONE, NONE, NONE Cons: LIARS , CHEATS, ANIMAL ABUSERS more
