Best

Fun course, and mostly good for Beginners like me. It's a good course to practice your short game. Pros: Cheap Cons: Short Course

Worst

Fun course to play but very short, but dont let that fool you still has some very challenging holes, and the view is great.

Lost and never found.... 10/8/2009

I and a group of Filipino friends went to play tennis in Scholl tennis ground. We had snacks at the restaurant and I left a red camera pouch. the pouch is for my Sony cybershot DSC T900 and contained a spare cam battery and a memory card, including a SIM adoptor and some receipts. i tried to look for other places where i could have left the pouch but never found it. i still have a camera shot in the restaurant with my pouch on the table. i never got it back. Pros: good views specially the greens around the course Cons: i lost a pouch and has not retrieved it more

Solid Executive Course 10/29/2006

The first thing that should strike any newcomer to Scholl Canyon is the excellent view of downtown Los Angeles and the basin beyond, which is a nice feature that adds a great intangible quality to playing this short executive course. As for the golf itself, the course is in pretty good condition with nicely kept greens and plenty of bunkers protecting medium-sized greens that should challenge your ball-striking and accuracy. The back nine features some of the best views of any golf course in the LA area and the hilly terrain makes for some interesting lies, especially to elevated greens like 13. One definite drawback to the course is its close proximity to the Glendale/Pasadena dump, which is visible from some holes. All in all, a solid and challenging course. Pros: Great views, challenging green locations Cons: Neighboring dump more

Decent course with some genuine challenges 5/22/2006

Scholl Canyon is a decent 18 hole course with some real challenges, especially on the back nine -- where I've lost more than my share of balls. It has a nice distribution of traps, and it's fairly well maintained, but most of the greens are not too challenging once you reach them. A fun play with a cart. Pros: Value, Challenge more
