Great Library 6/9/2006

This is just a fantastic library. The building is practically brand new and walking into this place is like walking into a kind of mall. You walk in and there is a lobby that branches off into the electronic media you can rent and the children's section. Then, you can walk up the stairs into the adult section. Holy Cow, if you can't find your book here then it probably doesn't exist. This place is just perfect for a library. It has outstanding resources, unlimited numbers of books, videos and DVDs. Even the bathrooms are really nice in this place. Use their online system to find a book at pretty much any library in the suburban Chicago area. If they don't have the been here, they can get it for you. This place is just fantastic. Try it out. more

A World Class Library 8/14/2005

Schaumburg Township District Library has always been a pillar of the community and attracted visitors from neighboring towns and cities. It moved to its current location in 1998. The current library is enormous and offers many activities. It can rival any community public library in the country and offers world class amenities. It has a large selection of books, computers, and reading rooms. They offer almost every magazine and newspaper from the country. Classes are offered in computer work as well as several guest lectures ranging from help in taxes to cooking to different cultures. Schaumburg is a diverse town and the library reflects that. You will find people from all different communities and walks of life that congregate here. It is truly the center of the town. more

Great Library! 8/14/2005

The Schaumburg Township District Library is a great one! i though i'd make a stop there after i went to ikea. I took a quick look at their music selection and it is much better than what i have back in my home town! Their discs are in very good shape too. ALso, considering its library, they have a really big collection of books. Overall i give this place five stars out of five. more

Library! 7/25/2005

I really love this library. It is so huge and there's so much to do inside. They have a huge media section inside the library, with tons of videos, cds and dvds. I always find some great titles there. They also have tons of books, even hard to find ones that most other libraries don't have. Another great thing about this library is that they have lots of computers for internet and other uses. This library is always filled with people, but hardly ever seems like it because its so spacious. My absolute favorite place in the library is the spot in front of the fireplace -- its so cozy! more

Great service 7/19/2005

Schaumburg Township District Library is one of my favorite hang outs. I always find all the books, even the hard-to-find ones at this library. They have a wonderful CD selection as well. The drive-up and on-line services make everything so convenient and quick. They even have a self check-out kiosk. The staff is always friendly and willing to help out. more
