The search for the perfect stone can be endless, but when you put a lot of time and money into doing a home improvement, it is worth doing right. I have been to practically every stone yard from Conn to New Jersey and have seen some really beautiful material. However, nothing beat my visit to Saymar Stone in Long Island City Queens. From their homestyle customer service (they made me two cups of espresso) and their world class selection, I felt completely sure that I was at the right place. It is rare to find sales people that are attentive but not pushy. I was able to take my time and eventually found the right material for my major home improvement project, that included 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, a bar room and an outdoor bbq area.
