Insurance Claims 3/21/2012

Terrible at handling insurance claims, especially international ones. I received a broken item from Australia over a year ago, and they completely mismanaged the claim. I'm still waiting for a resolution. If you need to file an insurance claim, go somewhere else. These people don't even deserve a one star rating, but I can't figure out how to remove it. Ellie more

Horrible serice, rude clerks and so insensitive to other people's time 4/1/2010

Good: Nothing. I was there to apply for passport. It was my turn after 55 minutes, the clerk simply put the "closed" sign in fornt of me. She did not bother to tell me that she had to go to lunch when she was helping the customer in fornt of me.. Bad: There was no lunch time hour sign posted for "passport section" at all. I wasted my an hour and a half and left almost in tears. I was so late to go back to work. I left without my job done there.. Improvements: Better communication. A small sign that shows the lunch hour time would save others energy and time.. Other: I would never go back again. I felt that they do not have any respect for other people's time. No professionalism. The manager, Juli was worst. She had a horrible attitude. I hope people read my comment before going there it happened today, 04/01/2010 12:10 pm to 1:30 pm.. more

How to avoid lines at Santa Monica P.O. 2/26/2006

When you think of the post office, you probably think long lines. But the main P.O.in Santa Monica, on Fifth Street near Arizona Avenue, has taken a step into the 21st century. If all you need to do it mail an envelope, you can do it at an electronic station that accepts credit cards, weighs what you’re mailing and lets you select a variety of deliveries (with cost based on speed). Strangely, there’s hardly ever a line for the automated station. more
