Amazing place to go. Especially if you have kids. I love the fish, colors and atmosphere. The employees are helpful and patient, which is needed...especially if you have kids with...

Worst

This aquarium is very small--you can stand on one side of the room and see the end of the other side. But its only a buck or two to get in so i guess its a nice place to take chi...

Great for wee ones 9/26/2005

This aquarium is quite small, but its perfect for small children with short attention spans. Its pretty much one room and you can see it all from one spot – allowing you to watch more than one child at a time. It’s also an ideal place for letting little ones have some independence due to its small size. more

Santa Monica Pier Aquarium 9/25/2005

I have been to the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium once and I think, for what it's worth, once was enough. It is a very, very small aquarium in comparison to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. They do have a small touch pool though where they have a few sea urchins, star fishes, crabs and snails. Admission is inexpensive, $1 for 12 years and over, so you pretty much get what you pay for. more

nice place for children 8/6/2005

This aquarium is very small--you can stand on one side of the room and see the end of the other side. But its only a buck or two to get in so i guess its a nice place to take children just for fun...but its really made for kids not too exciting for teens/adults. more
