This may sound silly, but I totally didn't know there were companies you could pay to pack up your WHOLE house and move it. My schedule is far from free so this worked out well. The guys that helped were very polite, efficient and moved quite carefully with my stuff. I would surely recommend. more

I just relocated from San Jose, California to Santa Monica, CA. Before moving I interviewed about 20 moving companies by online quotes and by calling them. %90 of them had terrible reviews, scary B B B records and more. The rep from Santa Monica Movers gave me the feeling that I was his only costumer for today. Natalie chat with me something like 45 minutes while I got explained about all the details that are necessary for a safe move with anybody. She was also very nice and we laugh a lot (I offered her to meat my son but she could not do that due of professionalism demands). I understand all companies are independently operated, so it's more of a crap-shoot than anything else. Maybe I just got lucky, but I had a better move than I even dreamed possible. more

Due to my husbands job, we relocate often (4 times in the last 2 years) and we usually use Santa Monica Movers or north american as we have the last 3 times. They did a really good job but the costs are so high and my husbands company only pays a partial amount of the entire move. Our last move which was in late july we went online searching for more competitive quotes and filled out a form with your moving day and recieved calls from a few moving companies. They were all within a few hundred dollars of each other and for the most part had good reviews on this web . We chose Santa Monica Movers and they were literally $700.00 less than our last move for the same weight. They did a great job from beginning to end. When the driver and his crew came to my home, they were right on time. They were pleasant and were very friendly towards each other. You could tell that they all liked each other and they like to work together. I have moved myself before this and was expecting this to be an all day event. They packed all of the things that I had told Raam I wanted packed. They disassembled my beds and my daughter's crib. They started to load all of my belongings onto the truck, (which was down 3 flights of stairs and up 2 flights. I lived in a condo with no elevator) without any complaining!! I hated walking those stairs every day, I can only imagine what it was like to move my couches and big TV on those stairs. I was amazed! I bought them all pizza and soda for lunch, I thought they would like to take a break, but to my surprise they ate and went right back to work! Aaron, Juan & Victor were in and out of my condo in less than 4 hours. I had recently had the whole place painted, spiral staircase and all, and not 1 scratch, dent or mark on the walls! more

Then the movers showed up at my place early! When they looked at my furniture they said we would be able to do this in one trip. They then proceeded with their work quickly and skillfully. Thank goodness these guys knew what they were doing or else I would have had to do the 2nd trip. I am very happy with the service I got and the moving crew was a pleasure to work with. Santa Monica Office Movers were moving my roommate in, and I had just installed a new doorknob for my bedroom. The knob was faulty, and I got locked out of my room. Vinnie and his guys came in, and they immediately offered their help. After a lot of hard work and brute strength, Vinnie popped the door open, saving me tons of time, tears, and money.
