Dr. Settle and her staff provide outstanding veterinarian care. I have used vets for many years and the service and personalized care I get from Sanford Animal Hospital is unbelievable. Dr. Settle calls to follow up in the evenings, weekends ... even on her vacation. Kudos to Sanford Animal Hospital for providing a near extinct experience ... excellent customer service! The owners of SAH do NOT care about the animals they treat. They are only interested in money. They don't support rescue of any kind and breed dogs for show themselves as a hobby for fame and glory. \r \r They also encourage clients to breed via artificial insemination or other forms of fertilizatioin, even pit bulls. So many of pitts end up in the wrong hands, but it doesn't matter - just so SAH makes $.\r \r I used to work there and some of the vets are caring, but I would only use this practice if it was the only vet in the entire state.\r \r And yes, Judi was incredibly rude to everybody. She is no longer there; she passed away. more

I love Dr. Sarah @ Sanford Animal Hospital. She took great care of my dog when she was going through heartworm treatment. Not only did she do everything possible to get these suckers gone, but she also educated me. If I had ANY questions, she answered them. She did not seem too ""busy"" for my questions or concerns. The vet techs are wonderful as well and know their stuff! I know I probably annoyed them with all my questions, but they answered them just as kindly as possible. SAH is a great vet and I will be going back there again. Heartworm Prevention is the way to go... not heartworm treatment- it was terrible on the dog.. waking up at 2 and 3am with her throwing up. Having to have her crated for 3 months. They really ask you to do test and shots and preventions for the good of the dog, not just to make $$ off of you. more

Due to the remarks/comments/actions made toward me by Judi, I will NEVER, EVER return to this place, they (she) is SOOOOO RUDE, very 'snotty' and simply care only about her own personal business, not your animal, as one would think, (being they ARE an animal hospital) \r ---obviously,Judi must be family to the owner(s) because no NORMAL person (especially a vet) in thier right state of mind would EVER hire someone with the attitude and disrespect that she has---\r i find it very sickening the way this- judi- has been toward me, as she has been the same to others as well, aparently only worried about talking to 'Carl' (guessing thats her boyfriend) and not tending to the needs of her customers.....needless to say....i WILL NEVER NEVER EVER again be a customer, no matter what situation may arise, I KNOW i can find adequate vet care elsewhere........so if you are planning on paying them a visit...DONT...RUN...and RUN FAST...\r and yes, I'M telling this to everyone i know, and have found out there are others who have had the same experiences.....consider yourself warned....so RUN RUN RUN as fast and as far away from 200 Seawell st. as you can..... more

I have had great expriences at sah. they truelly care for ur animals and try to give u the best care for it. the staff is great and caring and they know their stuff and will tell u straight up what is going on. the service has been better since certian employee changes have happened. they are also having promotional deals going on too. more

would not sugguest you go there., Doesn't matter how long or how many people you bring to their doors your always treated like a number and if you think they like your pet all they see is dollar signs nothing more their staff is cold and unfeeling to anyone needs no one there really cares about your pet don't walk away RUN more

I have been taking my animals to this vet for over 10 years and just LOVE them. The front desk staff used to be a bit cold and unfriendly, but now they are great!! And the techs really know their stuff. The kennel is really clean and I boarded my dog there over Easter and he was very well taken care of. I would highly recommend these guys. Pros: friendly staff; kennel is better than ever; techs are great Cons: waiting times more

Boarded my pet over a week. They were soooo intent on giving this flea pill so my dog would not give fleas to others and vice versa. WELL I picked up, no fleas but ticks!!!!!!!! The manager was unwilling to help rectify my problem, told me I could buy another product. I do not suggest using. Every time someone talked to me it was about spending more money!! more

Hi,\r \r Well I used Sanford Animal once and it will be only once!!! I will drive to Raleigh for my previous vet, it would be worth the drive! I am on a fixed income, wanted to only purchase one heartworm pill and one frontline application, NO you cant do that!! Come on get real people. My vet will do it AND mail it to me at no extra charge. The front staff is RUDE!!! and non caring and one doesnt even speak english, that really helps. As soon as you speak to someone you know why they are in business, for the all mighty dollar. I am so happy to have a place to vent!! I will be sure to let others know to stay away from this place. WOW, \r What happend to Sanford Animal?! I have been going there sense I was a kid with my parents, always a great hometown place, people always knew who we were and my animals, now, though I feel as if I am an alien walking in the door. The nurses dont even seem happy anymore, whats up?\r When you walk in the door the atmosphere is so sterile. I miss all the little neat stuff they had and the friendliness. They are now just like all the other vets in the area, only there for the money! Pros: Dr. Settle and Dr. Shontz are great, good with the animals Cons: unfriendly front staff, its all about money. more

As a client of Sanford Animal Hospital for the last 6 years I've been extremely satisfied. \r \r Whether it's the care Grace; my Amstaff, has received during her annual exams, cropped up emergencies or through boarding Dr. Settle and her knowledgeable team have and continue to provide the best of care. \r \r To the point, I trust Sanford Animal Hospital! Pros: Experienced, knowledge base, gentle hand and fair price Cons: Parking sometimes tight and as I'm moving soon the distance will be a pain. However this won't deter me from continuing to take my girl to them. more

Sanford Animal Hospital and All Animal Hospitals are first-rate and top notch. I personally have done business with them for a number of years and have been nothing but totally happy with the staff. I don't know what problem one of the other poster's had, but my experience has been nothing like that sounded. Most people don't know, but Dr. Settle is the vet. for ""Bingo""; the beagle that won Westminster in 2008. That speaks volumes for her knowledge. I recommend them to many people and they have been very happy with their services. Pros: Very experienced and knowledgable doctors Cons: distance from where I live, but worth it! more

We have been using All Animals for 7 years now for our cat and dog and are very happy with the service. They are honest and friendly and give good advice. Besides Veterenary care, they groom our dog and do a great job. more

The personnel at All Animals, Dr. Shontz's other hospital, is top-notch. Dr. McNamara and Dr. Shontz work well together, and the staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Pros: educated, professional, courteous Cons: distance more

In a nutshell because there is to much to complain about in less than 150 words.... The office made me feel like my dogs were just a number and I was the endless money pit and they have trouble keeping accurate records on your pets. more
