BEWARE!! \r

Don't use this company!! Eight (8) months ago, SANDERCOCK moved the seller's furniture from a home we purchased, scratching & marring up the wood floor. Their realtor stated the floor would be repaired. To date, SANDERCOCK has never contacted us. I have repeatedly phoned them & left messages, but the owner has never responded or sent anyone from the company to look at the floor. The most I could do was speak with ""Ann"" who continually put us off & failed to return calls. Finally, a wood flooring contractor/repairer contacted me, stating SANDERCOCK asked him to look at the floor. No one from SANDERCOCK bothered to phone & set this up, give details, show concern or that they gave a damn. The flooring contractor looked at the floor, then left. I waited three weeks for SANDERCOCK to phone. Finally, I emailed the flooring contractor who indicated SANDERCOCK had refused his bid immediately. SANDERCOCK failed to inform us they were not going to repair the floor & apparently thought we would drop the issue & go away. My husband & I left many more phone messages that were never returned. \r

Finally, my husband was able to speak with Ann again (we don't know what her affiliation with the company is, but she answers the phone occasionally), who promised she would look into it & phone back. She never phoned back. Finally, someone, who was not affiliated with SANDERCOCK, phoned & said he was told to look at the floor. Again, SANDERCOCK failed to phone & set this up. An elderly gentleman, with many physical ailments, arrived & admitted to me he was just doing a ""friend"" (the owner of SANDERCOCK) a favor. He did not know how to repair wood flooring & after working on it for some time, he left it in worse condition, leaving a white scuffed up mark across the entire landing. He stated someone who was qualified to repair wood flooring would contact me & left, leaving the white marking behind. No one ever contacted me again. After waiting for a few weeks, I phoned back. More promises, but nothing done. Finally, I opened a case with the Better Business Bureau who talked them into sending the unqualified elderly gentleman back to repair the landing only. I am not going to have someone who doesn't know what he's doing & is not familiar with wood floor repair, do this job as a favor to keep SANDERCOCK from having to turn this incident over to their insurance company.\r

Don't use SANDERCOCK for anything. They are terrible movers, apparently -- scratching & marring and ruining wood flooring. They are irresponsible, lazy, liars, & should not be running a business of any kind.\r
