The staff has been professional, accommodating and friendly. My whole family is happy with the dental services we received. The dentist answered the questions and concerns we had regarding our teeth. My teenager broke her 3 front teeth and one of the teeth needs to be removed. She was very upset (which of course is a natural reaction especially for a teenager). She needed cosmetic veneers as well as dental implants. We went to Dr. Zerafat's office where she was treated. She never complains of any discomfort and she can chew any foods comfortably. The receptionist was very patient with my questions as well as discussing my insurance and cost options that I would be dealing with. Normally, the dentists I have dealt with often treat you as a number. With multiple rooms for dental work, you they are simply passed through an assembly line of patients. Dr. Zerafat's friendly staff and the doctor himself were all a pleasure to deal with on my latest visit. I hate going to the dentists, but they certainly work to put you in a comfort zone that you can appreciate when you have got the dental jitters. They are located literally next door to where I live in Clairemont, over in Pacific Beach, and I would recommend this office to anyone who needs dental care. It is nice to get a little attentiveness when you are on edge about dental care. more

As a college student, my insurance options are extremely limited, and this holds true for what little dental insurance that I have. I had already exhausted my dental funding and needed an emergency tooth extraction. My roommate had suggested Dentist Pacific Beach in San Diego. I went there with my tooth throbbing hoping for the best. I explained my financial situation and the receptionists there were completely up front with me. They explained how much the procedure would cost, and even offered a payment plan to help me pay down the cost of the procedure. I recently needed to get a deep cleaning. My friend recommended Dr. Zerafat, and after having the process done, itâ??s clear as to why heâ??s the preferred dentist for this procedure. I knew this wasnâ??t going to be a pleasant ordeal, but the staff at Dentist Pacific Beach certainly made it more tolerable than I ever would have expected. The cleaning was definitely thorough, while the Dr. Zerafat and his staff were completely gentle with my teeth. I would highly recommend his services to anyone who needs to have this same procedure done, and Iâ??d expect that youâ??ll receive exactly the great treatment that I did. more

DR.ZERFAT IS THE BEST... i went in yesterday for my wisdom tooth extraction and i was in pain..he looked at my mouth and x-ray, then he said that the tooth needs to me removed as i had an infection in my root. no wonder i was so much in pain..next things you know , he put me on novocain and pain was gone, then he took the tooth out...i'll be going back next week for follow up...very happy with his chairside manner...thanks a lot Dr.Z. more

i had a horrible toothache at the late monday night and my wife called this office and she got me an appintment. i got there at almost midnight and the doctor was very nice and took care of my pain within few minutes. this doc is great. i was happy to get my tooth fixed. more

I had major pain, called Dr. Z at 9pm and asked for an appt. ASAP. Next morning (sat.) he met me at his office and examined my tooth. It turned out that I had a crack under my old filling and a major cavity had started. He did his best to save my tooth from a root cannel, then made me a temp. crown. The final product was ready in 3 days, but due to my busy work schedule I couldn't find the time to visit his office for about 2 weeks after the initial visit. I should say the temp. crown was doing its job perfectly and had no problems w/ it. Maybe that's why I put it off for so long, haha. The pain was gone immediately after my initial visit, the whole process was virtually painless. Got my final crown placed the other day, it's awesome, feels and works like a real tooth. I couldn't be more happier with the whole process. I should mention his staff, office decor and music were awesome too. Most definitely he'll be my personal dentist from now on and I'll refer all my family and friends to him. Thanks doc for your help and the most desirable dental visit ever. Pros: painless more
