All they good reviews that you read were created by the owners and employees do believe anything it says. I'm trying to save people from getting ripped off and not have their home destroyed. These people have been in business for a 5 years the most they use to be called ""Mission Builders"" and San Diego Roofing they filed bankruptcy, and continue to stay in buisiness to rip people off. The owners are hunger eating sharks who will do anything they can to convince you of great work and take your money. Especially Mr. Lougiakis he is the owner beware...... more

We are very happy with the results of our exterior paint job by San Diego Home Improvements. Our house looks amazing, and I really appreciate the professional treatment we received. It was a great experience all around, from the quoting stage with Tony, to the actual painting (Neal & crew), to working with Maria in the front office and Gary the owner of this fine organization. Should we need any painting services again (inside or out), we plan to contact San Diego Home Improvements in the future. I also plan to refer them to any friends or family that might need painting. My general experience has been that it's hard to find reputable contractors and in my opinion, your company is one of the best and most responsbile that I have dealt with more

They have the nicest group of people from the sales man, to the office gals to the workers, we loved them all and would highly recommend them. Pros: This company is the real deal!!!! more

A sweet old sounding lady from their office called a dozen times this year to ask if we needed any additional work done on our home. Each time we answered that we didn't and we asked not to be called again - but no luck. Perhaps these bad reviews will encourage them to change their ways - I'm not surprised that we're not the only ones getting disturbed by them. Although I can't complain about the quality of their work they did for us (a very small project) these folks took two weeks longer than estimated to complete the job. Frankly, I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody - there is a reason why they're not listed with any positive reviews on Angie's List! more

I recently had my home Text-Coated by San Diego Home Improvements and we had an excellent experience that I want to share. Neal was our Project Manager and Eduardo was the field Manager. They both did an outstanding job working with us and making sure we got what we wanted and were happy with the work. Neal worked very closely with us to come up with a perfect color scheme for our home. He stayed in contact with us during the entire process making sure we were happy with the work taking place. He is an energetic guy and a pleasure to work with. Eduardo - I honestly cannot say enough about the wonderful work he and his team did on our home. The transformation was just amazing. Eduardo has great ""people skills"" and was so easy for us to communicate with. He fully understood what we wanted and kept us in the loop every step of the way. I would work with him again in a heartbeat if the opportunity ever comes up. My project would have been complete in a week if it weren't for several days of rain during the process. The team was there all day every day they were able to work until it was finished. I never once felt that other jobs were more important than mine as I had the same guys there every dry day until it was done and I was 100% satisfied. They honored the particulars I put in the contract, worked with me on special orders and were extremely diligent,courteous and accommodating.;I would definitely hire them again and would refer them whole heartedly to others.I actually really enjoyed the experience more

After extensive research I hired this company to do some work to my house. At the completion of the project I wanted to submit a revies about this company and I went on line. I read all the reviews and I have to admit that the people that are badmouthing this company are previous employess of this organization. This company IS NOT associated with any of the companies that the reviews mention. I visited the company at their Friendship address and they all seem very honest and professional. I met the owner and he seemed very profeessional and honestly cares about every client. I am not a friend of the owner or work for the company. This company was one of the contractors I called a couple of years ago to obtain a quote for a roofing job. They haven't showed up for their estimating appointment or called to cancel it. I ended up using a different contractor but ever since, San Diego Home Improvements (aka ""Mission Builders"") keeps calling me to offer their services. I've asked them several times to remove me from their list, but they keep calling. I've must have received close to a 100 calls over the past couple of years. Terrible business practice! more

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Professional and efficient! This team deserves to be posted as a great experience. I love the way my house looks. If you want a professional, call these guys. So- I needed my windows and carpet replaced, im remodeling... and I also wanted stucco added to the outer walls- These guys knew what they were doing. I truly appreciated the way the job was explained and how different methods and techniques are better than others. They were prompt for the job. We love it!! I couldn?t be more satisfied. I found this Co. on City Search for my parents! We are trying to sell our home. the roof fix up was good. Very Fast- and the windows look great! I got those double pane- theyre good with insulation.... I wanted a good job done. It did look very proffessional and well done.I felt these people deserved a review. After doing my due diligence and research for a general contractor in San Diego, I decided to go with San Diego Home Improvements. I needed a stucco repair, trim painted, windows and a roof repair for my home and I am very happy I chose San Diego Home Improvements for this job. From the beginning the customer service and how they made me feel as a client was incredible. They took the time to explain my options and provided ideas like no other. These guys go the extra mile to exceed all my expectations. Not only did they do a great job, the total amount of the project was done for 10% less than what was originally quoted and in my experience, this is seldom seen in the construction industry. My wife and I worked with San Diego Home Improvements on a paint job and a window replacement last month. Overall the project was a huge success and we are very happy with how it turned out. Unlike any other home improvement project we did not run into any issues which required changes during the course of the project. In addition what was great about working with San Diego Home Improvements is that I always felt they were open and honest in their communication and we were always able to work everything out in all of our best interests. I have hired San Diego Home Improvements to do various projects on my home several times over the last few years and all experiences were great. The first was for a roof, next was for windows. Then I moved. I again had them do windows, then remodel the stucco and the last job was the floor. I found them very easy to work with, each job was completed in a timely manner and all turned out fantastic. more

San Diego Home Improvements was extremely conscientious about quality, and it showed in their craftsmanship. They painted the exterior of my house and put up some window trim. These were the very nicest folks to work with ! They were extremely neat and came when they said they would and did a beautiful job with our home; including the clean-up afterwards.In speaking with the owner, he seemed like such a very nice man and it was easy to tell that he was old-fashioned in the very best ways...wanted to do the best possible work. He even sent a beautiful ""thank you"" note after the jpob was finished. Seems as though we should be the ones sending HIM a thank you note for the terrific work! I would heartily recommend them to anyone who wants their home to look it's best. more
