Editorial review from Citysearch 10/20/2013

A year ago I purchased a 450sl that I was told was all original. I have since found out that it was painted over and I have already put lots of money into a vehicle that had 52 thousand ""original miles"" on. I trusted a scam artist who should have their dealership license revoked. As a dealer they should know what they are selling and fully disclose with honesty and integrity everything about the vehicle sold to the client.\r \r Avoid this dealer like the plague. Liars and scammers that give other dealers a bad name. more

Check with BBB first!! 2/7/2010

Bought a 68 Camaro from them in August. ""Fresh rebuild and runs great...Ready to cruise and enjoy."" Dealer said they would reimburse to get car fixed buy never did. They continuously lied saying they were going to mail but didn't. Last time they said they were waiting for Ebay ad to expire so I could not leave feedback. Paid $19K for a $13K car, I've put 3k into car and still not street legal. Every seal in the engine leaked, overheats, interior was suppose to be great - far from, no horn (both in engine or on steering wheel), lights don't work, A/C and heater doesnt work, no kickdown cable on transmission. Car was running only on 6 of the 8 cylinders. They will lie to you and tell you what you want to hear with no action. Check the BBB. Cons: False Advertising more

San Diego Company Gets F from BBB 10/11/2009

Bought a 65 Mustang from these folks based on their ad and information they gave me during telephone calls and shipped it to Hawaii. The vehicle had significant problems with almost every system causing it to fail Hawaii Safety Inspection. The Manager/Co-owner assured me the engine had recently been rebuilt, but it hasn't and must be soon. Tried for over six months to try and get these folks to help me fix the car or take it bad, but they wouldn't- inspite of saying the would time and time again. Filed complaint with BBB, but they ignored them to, resulting in a grade of an F. The Managers excuse, ""its a 43 year old car and you bought it as is."" Cons: Accused of Deceptive Ad Practices and Lying During a Sale more
