If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would! First of all, it is a unique dining experience. You order a bunch of tapas (appetizers) that are mainly Mediterranian and they are brought to you scattered. (I personally recommed the ajo al horno, garlic. Yum!!!!!) You really can't go wrong with any selection. All of the servers are so well versed on their tapas and can make wonderful recommendations. The Sangria is also amazing. This is by far my absolute favorite restaurant in all of the Grand Rapids area. You are sure to leave full and have fun eating here! more

Love Tapas? Visit Sanchez 8/23/2005

My boyfriend and I LOVE San Chez! We have been overly pleased with everything we have ordered there. We took our kids there, they love it. I also took my sister from out of town there and she said it was the best tapas place she has ever been to. Their service is superb and food is out of this world!!! If anyone is looking for some GREAT Tapas, go to San Chez downtown! more

San Chez Tapas 8/16/2005

San Chez is one of the best dining spots in Grand Rapids. The atmosphere is wonderful. IT is a great place to meat friends and enjoy an evening of great food and fun. Make sure to try the Sangria and have everyone order a couple different tapas. Watch out though, this place is not easy on the wallet! My group of six spent well over $300! more

My Favorite Restaurant! 8/10/2005

San Chez is by far and away my favorite restaurant in Grand Rapids! The atmosphere, great food and sangria make this a perfect date spot, and a great place to take out of town guests. Each guest orders one or two tapas, which are then share with all - everyone gets to sample many items. The meal is pricey, but well worth the money! more
