Good food though price is pretty high for Indian Food as I wouldn't describe this as anything really amazing. more

Favorite place for a good price 3/1/2011

Although not very noticeable while passing by, this place is sure to surprise you. I was slightly skeptical to try it after trying another really great Indian restaurant, but Samosa Factory quickly became a favorite of mine with it's reasonable prices and warm atmosphere! Everyone is friendly and it's not a huge place so you won't feel overwhelmed with an abundance of people being there. Definitely a place to try for some delicious Indian food in my opinion. Excellent food! more

Delicious, refined Indian food with bright, personal service 9/20/2010

Inconspicuous among strip mall shops, this restaurant is a standout. Spinach saag was deliciously seasoned with delectable flavors and aromas that made smelling as pleasant as tasting. The variety of chutneys, either singly or combined, raised the taste quotient to beyond exquisite. The fruit filled naan was tasty, but next time would go for a vegie one for the main meal. Everything prepared with care, fresh, not greasy (as can be common in Indian restaurants). The raita was the best I've ever had and would order it again in triple size since it's meant to be eaten as a condiment, not a side dish, but it was extraordinary. Our wait person was the owner and his warm smile and kind disposition, totally matched the quality of the food. Our spirits were fed as well as our stomachs. It was a pleasure to support a local business and receive more value for our money in a small, stylish, intimate setting. Be good to yourself. Get the goodness you came for in this lifetime. Eat at Samosa's. Under this ownership for 2 years, so reviews prior to 2008, not pertinent to this owner. more

Best Indian Food in Las Vegas - REALLY 1/10/2010

Due to food sensitivities, Indian food is the only reliable kind of food we can eat out when we travel. Since we frequently come to Las Vegas to visit family, we have tried all of the Indian restaurants in the city. Samosa Factory is hands down the best in the city, perhaps the best we have had anywhere. Their Butter Chicken is amazing, the Hot and Sour Chicken/Paneer is fantastic, and we LOVE the Fresh Baby Spinach Curry. Finally, the place, though simple, has a wonderful energy and the owner and staff are fantastic. It was nice to connect with such a wonderful place. Pros: Amazingly fresh, flavorful, and healthy food Cons: We can only eat here 2 out of 3 meals - no beakfast! more

Friendly and Delicious! 7/15/2009

I discovered The Samosa Factory after doing a web search when I arrived in Vegas for business. I grew up eating Indian food and eat it at least once a week at my local Tandoori. I was surprised to find so many Indian restaurants in my search but was delighted to pick TSF. The food is all freshly cooked using great natural ingredients and the service is warm and friendly. The vegetarian options are great (I'm a veggie) and the vegan and meat lists extensive also.. I ate there twice on my last trip and again this evening when I was back in town with my son and his friends to celebrate his 21st. They all loved it and are eating the copious leftovers right now in their room. We'll definitely be back - thanks! more

Stands Out from Other Indian Restaurants in Vegas 6/26/2009

I am Indian and growing up I was spoiled by virtue of having an extremely good cook for a mother. I've been to all of the Indian restaurants in Vegas and have also visited Indian restaurants in many other parts of the country. (I travel a lot as a result of my job). I usually have a hard time finding healthy dishes that are also delicious, but you can definitely find that at the Samosa Factory. I actually took my mom to eat here when she was visiting us in Vegas and she was surprised by good the food was. This is definitely not your typical buffet fare. (In fact, there is no buffet available.) If you think all Indian food tastes the same, then you should give this place a try. I would recommend the spinach curry, any of the kormas and the chicken tikka masala. The freshness of the food, carefully prepared, and personalized service definitely set this restaurant apart. This is a small restaurant and there are some Indian restaurants in Vegas that have a more expansive menu, but the food is usually not this consistently good. I was actually in Vegas for a while before I discovered this place. It's unassuming exterior in a Strip Mall contributes to it being an undiscovered jem. Also, its namesake, the samosas, are nothing special and I would not judge the rest of the menu based on it. I have a hard time trusting reviews on the Internet since most reviewers are not as picky as I am about Indian food. This is the first review I've felt compelled to write! Pros: Delicious food, fresh and relatively healthy, good service Cons: Unassuming external Strip mall appearance, samosas are bland more

New owners - best Indian food in Vegas 11/5/2008

Having read about this in a local mag, we stopped in for lunch and got an unexpected healthy surprise - clean, warm interior, very friendly husband/wife team and a great selection of Indian favorites and new options. Portions large enough for 2 meals really, especially with an order of naan (Kashmiri is incredible) or samosas to start. The hot and sour chicken is incredible - if you like deeply spiced and richly textured Indian food, this is a fantastic dish that will leave you warm inside (order it ""medium"") and your tastebuds sated. Definitely worth it - good to see a local business stick to quality, homemade food, and we hope they're there for a long time to come. more

Fastastic Examples of Indian Cuisine 9/24/2008

Excellent food, presented well by a very attentive staff. We tried the Chicken Korma and the Butter Chicken, and found them both to be simply magnificent. The rice was fragrant and appropriately seasoned and the entrees were served in quantities that left both my wife and I unable to finish it all. Overall a great experience at a reasonable price. Pros: Fantastic Food, good proportions, fast delivery Cons: small seating area, strip mall parking more

Undoubtedly the Best Indian Joint in Vegas..... 3/24/2008

Phenomenal food. Mix of authentic and modern indian food that is not greasy. Very Original and innovative Pros: Food quality, Great taste Cons: Service slow sometimes more

A Fresh Twist on Indian Cuisine 1/3/2008

Totally Awesome Food--We loved it. Chutneys were superb and authentic and the Korma is to die for. If you're looking for the same run of the mill indian cooking available at other Indian restaurants, I wouldn't recommend it. The food here is unique ad offers a fesh, new perspective on indian cuisine. Pros: Food quality, Variety, Clean Cons: Slow service more

AVOID IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE FOOD AND OWNER 5/19/2007

its the worst restaurant that I have tried. Went there after looking at the reviews at Citysearch, but was utterly disappointed. The owner refused to give an extra plate to my husband to share the rice pilaf, he wanted us to dig in the servers plate . apart from that the food was horrible !!!! . It looked like the food was days old, we got a stomachache after eating that. more

Probably the best Indian restaurant in Vegas 10/5/2006

I am really surprised to hear a negative comment about the food at Samosa Factory. I am a frequent diner at the restaurant (almost 3 yrs) and have always enjoyed the food thoroughly. You should definitely give it another try. The food, unlike other Indian restaurant food is clean and all the spices are made fresh on the premises. Wish they served alcohol though, but guess that's not too healthy! Pros: Food taste and quality Cons: No alcohol more

Would not go again 5/11/2006

I was really excited to find that Samosa Factory was so close by. I called and ordered and drove down to pick it up. I ordered enough for dinner and leftovers for the next day. The manager was very nice when I picked up the food. When I got home, I was more than disappointed. The samosas were edible but barely. Though I must say the chutney was rather good. The lamb korma was not good. The naan was pretty good. But the worst was the spinach (saag) paneer. To say it was an atrocity would be a compliment. I had one bite and couldn't stomach anymore. It was awful. I finished the samosas and the naan and little rice and threw the rest away. If you are looking for good indian in Las Vegas, keep looking, because this isn't it. more

Excellent 1/17/2006

It was my first time at an Indian restaurant, the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and polite! they helped with our menu, and explained all of the dishes to us... it was all very good, and the dessert was mouthwatering! I would highly recommend the Samosa Factory to those who are looking to try something new and different, even if you have never tried Indian food before. They will make it to your liking- hot, mild or in between! more

Personalized service! 1/17/2006

My friends and I recently ate at Samosa Factory and had a wonderful experience. I called ahead to tell the owner ahead of time that we were new to Indian food and would need help choosing the food. We gave him a price range, and he helped us navigate the menu. He sent out a ton of delicious food and personalized everything. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone. more
