While the Daily Press focuses on very local news of the High Desert, the Sun focuses more broadly on the county including some High Desert news but mostly Inland Empire news. The Sun's coverage of national/international news is a bit more extensive also. There's just enough reading material to get me through breakfast. My husband likes the Sun's sports section. Many of the published letters to the editor, however, are bizarre and sometimes inscrutable.
