Salvatore Puccini Hair Design

After a recent move, my family switched from Puccini's Oakland (our longtime regular salon) to Puccini's in Cranberry. As expected, everything we loved about the Oakland salon--friendly people, great cuts and color, sensible prices--is duplicated in the Cranberry salon. I particularly love that I can take in a photo of whatever cut I like at the moment (always a celeb photo) and Sal knows exactly what to do to make it look great on me. I am sure if I hadn't wandered into Sal's Oakland salon nine years ago, looking for a gamine Audrey Hepburn Roman Holiday kinda cut, I'd still be jumping from one local salon to another in search of an experienced, reliable stylist. Thank goodness I found Puccini's when I did! Now my husband and even my 3 year old go there, as does my brother and my best friend. more

I recently started going back to Puccini's after a couple of bad experiences a few years ago. Seen they were running a special so I thought it had been probably 10 years since I had been there, why not try it again. So I was lucky enough to get a great stylist...Jill. She must be the only one there that knows how to cut because everytime I go in she is always showing other stylists how she does it. I mean just basic use of the scissors that you would think with having a Cosmetologist license they would already know how to use scissors. And no it's not new hires, thinking she is giving some new graduates a few pointers, these stylists watching have been working there for a few years (from what I got out of their conversation). more

I took my daughter to have her haircut, she had a picture with her. The stylist did not pay attention and gave her a cut she did not ask for. I had her correct it twice and it still is not the cut in the picture. Which was a simple angled bob cut. She said she was going to use a flat iron on her hair but never mentioned I would be charged and additional $20.00 for her to run 3 swipes. I fell like we were taken. The 50.00 charge would not have bothered me if we would have gotten what we paid for. Pros: friendly Cons: too expensive for a bad haircut more

My favorite place to get my hair done. Stylists are very skilled and gave wonderful ideas and suggestions for my new look. The salon is very modern and well-priced for the high-level service that is rendered. Recommend to anyone looking for a unique hair experience. Pros: talented stylists, clean, modern salon more

This is one of the most up-to-date and clean salons in the Pittsburgh area. Such a wonderful hair experience, all the way around. The stylists and people in the salon are very unique - total opposite of a Supercuts experience.
