SHE IS A MASTER WHEN IT COMES TO COLOR - SHE HAS REAL TALENT IN CHOOSING COLOR THAT IS VERY NATURAL & FLATTERING. SHE IS HONEST AND HAS A REAL GIFT FOR COMING UP WITH JUST THE RIGHT CUT AND STYLE. The best Salon EVER! 5/13/2008

This salon is amazing. I have gone there for five years now. The staff always knew my name. Even though they are excellent at what they do, I did not once feel that ""stuffy-uppidy"" thing that most salons that do what Salon U can do, give off. I feel in love with the staff not only because I knew I could go there and get an excellent hair cut, but that I would be able to relax and be myself. I have never had more people compliment me on my hair like they do when Melissa Christian at Salon U cuts it. I would highly reccomend her and Marc. They are both incredible. Pros: your hair cut- come on people! Cons: time and parking more

Best Hair Salon in Birmingham but not for the budget minded 8/16/2007

The stylists at Salon U are phenominal. I've never been to a Salon where more attention was given to detail. They actually listen to what you want and then guide you in the right direction. I always leave feeling great. Unlike many Salons I've visited in the past only to walk to my car and immediately brush out the style. However, don't go if your in a hurry. This kind of attention takes time and you will spend a better part of your morning there. They're services are expensive, but well worth the sacrifice. This is a high energy group with lots of enthusiasm. Pros: Great Sevice, Terrific Styles Cons: Little parking, High prices more
