She's always friendly and personable. She makes every effort to work me into her schedule. BTW, always love the actual haircut!

Worst

Everyone is super nice at the salon. However, although the massage was relaxing, it was not done as I requested. I always ask for deep pressure, and it was not even close.

I have been a client for over 20 years and I always leave Salon Stewart completely satisfied. The hairdressers are professional, the owners are extremely friendly and will bend over backwards to make sure your appointment is to your satisfaction. The salon is clean and welcoming. The products, top notch, and the prices are very affordable. more

Quality salon, bad workmanship 11/13/2011

I had a LivingSocial deal to this salon and I was very excited to use it for a salon pedicure. The main lady broke her foot the day of my appointment so I rescheduled with another woman. She was very polite and kind; however, she was not a good at the pedicure. I was very disappointed in the quality of the job and did not get the spa treatment as promised in the deal. I was excited for this pedicure and to try a new local salon and in the end very disappointed. more

Hey Leslie, this is funny!! OK, after leaving you I had to go to Krogers with my bouffant hair due and then to vote where they looked at my drivers license picture of yesteryear...oh yeh, quite funny actually! It took awhile to fall, by the time I hit the sack (and I looked per your instructions) it had fallen, still curly but not sooooo bouffanty! Today...I tried to blow it like you did, yeh right! That didn't work so good...washed it out through more gel goop in it and let it rip and it actually is curly and more "me"...by the next time I come in it'll be poker straight..crazy eh! Great haircut! 11/6/2011

I went back to Salon Stewart a couple of weeks ago for the first time in several years. I had an appointment with Cam, who never cut my hair before. He paid attention to every detail, took his time, gave suggestions, and did an overall fabulous job! I will definitely be returning to Salon Stewart! more

Her smile, friendly attitude, I'm talking and laughing the whole time I'm there. For years I couldn't find someone to cut my hair the way I wanted and I like the way a friend of mine had her hair styled, so I asked her where she had her hair done and now I have been going to Nancy 2 or 3 years now. I purchase some of your products also. more

Best Salon around! 11/5/2011

I have been going to Salon Stewart for ten years. Why do I return every four to six weeks? Skilled staff, friendly, clean environment, quality products, convenient hours, and reasonable prices. Josie is so talented! She has created some fabulous colors and cuts for me, I am complimented all the time! The salon runs great specials, too! One (or both) of the owners is always there, and their commitment to high quality is apparent. I don't ever want to go anywhere else! more

Salon Stewart - A Class Act 11/5/2011

Salon Stewart is a class act hard to duplicate. From their owners, David and Leslie, to their pleasant employees, hairdressers, receptionists, etc. and the pleasant atmosphere in their salon, it is an experience I am privileged to have whether it's for a haircut, touch-up, style, etc. more

Best Salon in the Detroit Metro Area! 5/21/2011

In the past I used to go to other salons and never left with quite the hair cut or color I was looking for. Then my sister-in-law introduced me to Salon Stewart-where we all went to get our hair and make up done prior to her wedding. I have been a long time customer since. The place is clean, charming and looks very professional and their prices are quite reasonable, I never leave there disappointed. I recommend this place to anybody looking for excellent hair that wont kill your bank account! more

Not worth it! 5/11/2011

I went to the salon to give it a try, and I was not impressed to say the least. The prices are not worth the service AT ALL. It was so expensive for color, and at the end, I had to go back to my usual salon to have them fix the elementary color job I had done at Salon Stewart. The services there are comparable to what you would have done at a BoRics, with the prices about quadruple. more

Not a great manicure salon 5/11/2011

I got acrylics there a while ago and it was horrible! the nail tech (i dont remember her name) ruined my nails. I couldnt get the stuff off and had to come back and have her redo the work. She made me feel very uncomfortable when I came back in and it was like I was a burden on her. I just wanted my nails to look nice! even after she "fixed" them, I went to a different salon, and it took them TWO treatments to truly get my nails back the way they were. I would not recommend getting a manicure here, especially acrylics more
