Born to do hair 1/23/2008

Mary is the best hair dresser I have ever been to. Not only is she creative she is honest. I like that most about her. She puts you as the customer first. I have never walked out of her salon unhappy or disappointmented. Mary should only receive great reviews because she only ever does great hair. Who wants to go to a hair designer that is no fun; Not me. Mary is very personable and was born to do what she does. Her talent is beautiful and no matter the price I am there. Pros: everything rocks more

great hair care and good services 1/22/2008

Mary does a great job and is very talented. She is willing to go out of her way to make time for an appointment even if it does not fit into her salon hours. I would recommend Mary to anyone looking for great color and style. She is up to date with the latest trends and even has great hair herself. As you know most hair stylist have messed up hair that is usually butched or multi colored as they experiment on themselves often, but not Mary. The only downside is that I find her prices somewhat steep, but they are consistent with other great stylist in the area, not to mention that I don?t usually spend a lot of money on hair care. Overall, Hair by Mary is a great service added to the triangle area and a great place to go if you like homemade cappuccinos. Pros: great style and color, talented staff Cons: high priced color more

Best hairdresser in town!!!! 1/22/2008

Mary is a wonderful and talented young lady. I have always received such amazing haircuts and fabulous color from her. She takes her time and is truly interested in making you look the best you can look. If you aren't pleased she is always more than willing to fix it so you look your best, she wants you to be happy with her cuts and color. Not only do I go to her, but I have referred co-workers, friends, and family and they all love Mary as well, she is great! Pros: everything more

Mary is EXCELLENT! She saved 'the first impression that I made my new department"" 1/21/2008

I had received a really bad color and hair cut from a salon in the town where I live. My hair looked like Donna Reed from the Donna Reed show and added 20 years to my age Two days later, I was to fly to Rochester MN to meet my entire department for the first time. Luckily I was able to get an appointment with Mary the same day. She saved the day. She is a true stylist. She picked a hair style that was 'hip', the color looked excellent and the cut beautiful. My hair flows and I receive compliments on my hair and cut almost daily and I look 10 years younger!! Not only does my hair look good when Mary styles it, it looks great as it is growing out. Mary is excellent! more

Come in from out of town. 1/21/2008

Before Mary I used to go to anywhere I could to get a quick haircut. After discovering Mary I haven't been comfortable going anywhere else. I have recently moved out of town and my hair is getting a bit shaggy. Im trying to hold out until my next trip back to Cary so I can get my haircut by someone who I trust. Im sure you will come to trust Mary as much as I have. more

Mary has a professional demeanor and is very helpful in creating new looks! She helps you step out of your same old hair routine and shows you edgy or soft looks that cater to you as an individual. It isn't just a clip, clip, throw on some color, wham bam thank you ma'm! She spends quality time, working with you, making suggestions for what can work with your face shape, your lifestyle and your personality. I don't usually write reviews but I make a point of it when I receive quality service. 5 stars! more

She taught this old dog some new tricks 1/21/2008

I have nothing but positives to say about Hair by Mary. I have had only 2 different hair styles in the last 20 years (i know.... ouch) and Mary was very proffessional in helping me pick out a new style. The style change was subtle but excellent. I could not be more pleased with the results and she is an excellent conversationalist too!! She was very engaging and I had alot of fun talking to her. more

Great Service, Great Job! 1/21/2008

I had a wonderful experience at this salon. I am usually skeptical about getting my hair colored, but Mary knew exactly what I was asking for. It was a subtle yet beautiful job. While I was there, I decided to get my eyebrows waxed and colored. Once again, I was completely satisfied with the results. I felt like a new woman. Mary is a great conversationalist too, so the time went by quickly. She is such a classy, vogue lady, and she definitely knows what is in style (while honoring your wishes). more

Best hairdresser I have ever had....hands down. 1/21/2008

Mary is amazing. I was recommended to her by my mother after getting the same haircut for about 5 years. After my very first haircut with her, everyone was blown away and I got compliment after compliment. I have since switched up my haircut a couple of times, but no matter what idea I come to Mary with, she always knows how to cut and style it and make it look amazing. She truly knows how to cut and style hair and leave the customer feeling good. She is also an absolute sweetheart and really knows how to make you feel completely comfortable and at home in her hands. I have no plans to change hair stylists anytime in the foreseeable future....as my mom says, she is truly an artist. more

great hair stylist 1/21/2008

Mary has been providing excellent hair cuts to my whole family for a few years now. She has taken the time and interest to get to know everyone individually and she works with each person (including the teenagers!) to find flattering cuts that work for that individual's preference and style. She is always offering suggestions and making modifications to keep my style fresh and easy to maintain. I don't have time to keep up with fashion, but she keeps my hair looking good. I have gotten several unsolicited compliments on my haircuts even though I spend very little time styling it! Mary provides professional and friendly service and is very dedicated to her clients' satisfaction. more

Great colorist! 1/21/2008

Great hair stylist and colorist! I get so many compliments on my hair, and the color looks so natural. Always up on the latest trends, takes her time with your hair and is really pleasant to deal with. I usually keep a very simple cut, but I let her ""experiment"" with my haircut too and have not been disappointed. And I've not found anyone else that does better hilites! more

Mary is both a talented hair stylist and a wonderful provider of customer service. She listens to what I want and then makes recommendations that are flattering, not too difficult to pull off, and complimentary to my own sense of style and appearance. She's terrific. I HIGHLY recommend her. She also charges a very fair price. more
