Of all the stylists that have done my hair over the years, nothing will ever compare to the way Joe cuts my hair. He is the undoubtedly the best hairstylist I have ever sat with, period. i went to Joseph because i messed up my hair trying to color it myself and he not only fixed it but gave me the cutest cut ever had and the color he did on me was amazing you would have never thought that it was messed up in the first place, i never thought that my hair could look the way he made it look, i always thought that my hair wasn't the type that could ever look like that but he showed me how to use the right products and he really was helpful in the way he explained how to style my hair the way i wanted it. on top of being such a great and knowledgeable hair stylist he was the sweetest person ever met! i highly recommend him he was sweet, professional, not fake, and the most awesome hair stylist been to! more

Having my hair done with Joseph was one of the best service experiences I've ever had. He was honest, up front with his thoughts, and everything he did was exactly what I wanted to see, but I just know how to say it. He is a mind reader, but not a show off. Just perfect. I'd been wanting a good hairstylist for a long time, and recently discovered JOSEPH AWAD. I've had long, one length curly hair forever, and no stylist has ever really done anything with it. I took the plunge and sat with JOSEPH, who came highly recommended. and I honestly must tell all that after spending an hour with him sculpting, smoothing, and transforming my hair into a beautiful look, I feel I can't afford not to see him again. He is an absolute master at what he does, and his quiet focus on you is absolutely mesmerizing. the day he was cutting my hair channel 9 news had voted him the best stylist/colorist in the metropolitian area. he deserves it ,he is the best. and congratulations and can't wait to see him again. my hair is beautiful sera heinz more

I waited one weeks for the appointment but it was soo worth it. I just had my hair colored and highlighted with JOSEPH. The color he did is gorgeous!! I was afraid that since he is so highly recommended that he was going to be a snob. He was super nice and I'm completely ecstatic over my hair. The salon is good but the experience was great because of JOSEPH. SUN GAZZETTE Magazine is right, he is the number 1 in cuts and colors. I have been going to JOE AWAD for several years for cut and coloring/hilites. JOSEPH is the only person who I will allow to color my hair & I'm often asked who colors my hair because of how natural the color looks. he also gives my ROOMMATES great hair cuts and knows exactly what hairstyles work for me. This was my 3rd haircut and color with JOSEPH, the 3rd haircut for me has always been the worst. Not this time, i actually went in expecting to be let down. It's' been my experience that the 1st cut is always great they're trying to impress, the 2nd they can copy the 1st but the 3rd seems to be a new ballgame. Not only was it incredible but it may be my favorite. Having a cut that is easy and fits my personal style has made my life so much easier. JOSEPH i know you'll read this, i thought about sending you a thank you card but i thought this was a better. I've been going to the same hair stylist in Chicago for 11 years and was terrified to take a chance on someone else here in DC. I was referred to Joe awad by a friend and was impressed with all his work. he is brilliant! It's unbelievable the miracle he performed on my hair!
