Awesome Salon!! 7/20/2011

I have been searching for a salon in San Antonio for a year now and ran across Salon Flor. I have had bad experiences in San Antonio with so called ""high end"" salons that turned out to be horrible and NOT high end. This salon is excellent on customer service and hair skills. They listen to you and give you EXACTLY what you want! You are not rushed at all and are given the attention you need to make your hair perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this salon. I am glad to find a salon that I like and that is excellent on cutting hair along with a friendly atmosphere. Try this salon out....you won't be disappointed. more

the best haircut I have ever had 1/30/2011

I have fine thin limp hair. Every day was a bad hair day. I went to Mari at Salon Flor on the advice of a friend and I will never leave her. My hair has never looked better. Really!!!! Perfect strangers stop me and ask who does my hair. Not only does the cut stand alone, but I can curl it as well, and it stays!!! Must be the product she uses. I have lived in 5 countries and 7 states and never have I found a better stylist. I look fabulous, every day. more

Mari has vision. I am sure there a amazing stylist throughout the rest of the city But I will vouche that Salon Flor is one of the best in town.. Her creative abilities are beyond ones personal vision of his or her own style. She blends professionalism with fun and spunk. She is truly a master of her own art. I can sit on Mari's charir and just relax knowing that she is going to make me look a lot better than when I came in. She has never failed me..........she knows what my hair needs and goes to work. I trust her completely to make the right choice for me. more

Truly Talented 5/3/2010

So I have been a client of Mari's for 5 years now, and I will say I've always known how gifted and talented she is but have yet to put a review. After my last visit (April 29th) I realized how she has been SO great to me and my husband over the years that its about time I returned the favor. Pros: BEST Stylist, BEST Colorist, MOST sincere person Cons: Absolutely none more

MARI FIXED MY HAIR AFTER HAVING IT SCREWED UP AT A HIGH PRICE SALON ON THE NE SIDE. MARI KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING, AND IS THE MOST PROFESSIONAL HAIR STYLIST I'VE EVER GONE TO! I GET DAILY COMPLIMENTS ON MY CUT AND COLOR...I HAVE BROWN HAIR AND MARI IS HELPING ME LOOK LIKE A NATURAL BLONDE! SHE AND HER SALON (AND ALL OF HER PRODUCTS) ROCK! The hair tamer 8/12/2009

I have VERY thick, curly hair. A previous hair styler cut layers into my hair. Mari came to my rescue and over several months and several cuts has tamed my crazy mane into soft, controllable curls. Last month she put in highlights and I have gotten so many compliments. San Antonio is very luck to have Mari!!! Pros: cut and color expert, friendly, great listener more

After disappointing results with a hair color treatment, I went to see Mari on the recommendation of a friend. I couldn't have been happier with the results. Finding Flor Hair Salon was an answer to a prayer! Mari and her salon are inviting and real. I left looking and feeling as if I had won the lottery! She listens (then listens some more) and makes no promises she can't keep. I was comfortable with her and confident in her from start to finish. I am so happy I crossed paths with Mari, who by the way came highly recommended to me. It is obvious that she is passionate about what she does. Her dedication and commitment towards her client shows, Mari set a long term plan for me on what we need to do to recooperate my damaged hair, and so far it is working out great. I follow her advise as well as keep my regular appointments, which helps sooo much too. Her advise, knowledge and expertise are definetely cutting edge!!! Best Stylist in San Antonio!! 12/3/2008

I have been to many hair salons in San Antonio and even out of the state, but Mari at Salon F'lor rocks them all. The salon itself is an aesthetically pleasing environment but not pretentious. Mari is the owner of the salon and she treats you like family. She stayed open after hours to do my hair while my 2 year old son smudged up her mirrors and dug through her fashion magazines. My hair looks awesome!! And guess what? She did not charge a million bucks like some hairdressers do in the downtown/Monte Vista area. I left with a beautiful haircut and money in the bank. Not to mention, 3 days later there was a thank you card in my mailbox from the salon. Awesome, awesome individual and best salon in San Antonio. Best hair salon & stylist in San Antonio 11/15/2008

Mari has been styling & coloring my hair for over 2 years now. I went to her the first time after another hair stylist fried my hair & really damaged my hair. Mari brought my hair back to life & has been taking care of my hair since then. Don't know what I would do without her. She takes the time to make sure you are happy when you leave her shop. I give her the highest rating possible. more

Having been w/my hairstylist for over 7 years and then needing to find another.... I searched long and hard and did my homework before stepping into Salon Flor. Once again, it pays to be patient...I have found a truly well schooled stylist who thinks, re-thinks and then goes over, in every detail, with you what will work and what will not and WHY, as a customer that's very important and appreciated. If you are looking for a stylist, for what ever reason, give Mari a try, you'll be wow'd........ Pros: Area nice, easy to get to from either dwtwn or by hghwy and parking easy.... more

Awesome Salon!! 10/6/2008

I had my hair cut by Mari and she was great. Mari took her time with me deciding how to cut my hair. After the cut, she styled my hair one way and then styled it a completely different way so that I may learn how to do this on my own. NEVER has anyone done that for me or been so patient. She never acted like she was in a hurry or bothered by my indecisiveness at all. I will definetely return. Mari also fixed my whacked out haircolor. It is shiny (once again), and looking great.
