Everyone was very friendly when We walked in.It was so relaxing and peaceful An and Ashley were wonderfuly knowledgeable on skin and nail care the chairs feel sooooooooo good it's like having a back and foot massage at the same time. I have been to alot of other places before but nothing worth writing about I also get my hair done with Maja who i must say is wonderful and giftted,& my waxing with Rey who is very professional and makes u feel so at eez with doing certin types of waxing done on privite areas. If I could give them a 6th star I would. Pros: Great parking& Will always make time 4 u Cons: can't have it done every day! more

I love Salon Etc, Tanya gives the best haircuts around. Ever since I can remember I associated getting a haircut with disappointment - too short, surprise bangs, etc. But at salon etc, Tanya cuts my hair exactly to my specifications, and gave me good advice on which products to use. Instead of just chopping of a lot of hair, she cuts off a little, then asks if that length is fine, or if she should go shorter/more layers - leaving no unwanted surprises. Furthermore, the prices here are more than reasonable. I also had my hair done here for my wedding, for only about $30-40, and it looked beautiful for the whole day. Unfortunately I've moved out of town, but I usually wait to get my haircut until I go back to visit Okemos, and then schedule an appointment here - basically I go out of my way to get my hair done nowhere but here! more
