Salon At Gold Canyon

I was in from out of state looking for a new hairdresser for the winter, and am so glad I found the Salon at Gold Canyon. Charlie took her time and paid attention, and cut and colored my hair, giving it a great new look without being extreme. I loved it there. It's a great family working there, and can't wait to go back next winter! more

I lost my hair a year ago, and it has been slowly growing back. Although it is a decent length for short hair, I still felt that I was lacking in confidence. After meeting with Ashley from the Salon, I decided to give extensions a go. I thought it would be a long and drawn out process, and dreaded the cost. But after discussing things, and going over hair styles, we found that the cost was completely affordable, and time was no more of an issue then any other reason you would visit the hairdresser. Ashley had my hair looking amazing in no time. She was very professional, and boosted my confidence, which had been lacking for many months since loosing my hair. She did such a great job of matching the colors, that I couldn't tell the difference, and I am in love with my new hair. By the time I left the Salon, I felt like family! For some time I've wanted to cut my long hair and donate to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program. I was scheduled to be on vacation in Gold Canyon on the 4th anniversary of the day my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I did some research before I left and found a wonderful web-site for the Salon at Gold Canyon. I scheduled an appointment and was able to follow through on this meaningful endeavor. Nicole Fazio was SO wonderful. She is talented, she is energetic, she is patient. She discussed some opitons for my new look and made me feel as comfortable as ever about the new style. I would highly recommend her for anyone. She's young and up on the latest styles and colors and she has experience and expertise that comes so naturally. An appointment at The Salon at Gold Canyon is not just a haircut, but an experience. Nicole Fazio is an amazing colorist and has a great ability to produce a flattering style. She exceeds my expectations every time she does my hair. Owner Kent Cutter shows passion for his work and makes all clients feel welcomed. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. I have had my hair done by both Nicole Fazio and Kent Cutter, they both did an amazing job and this is the only salon that I go to. I recomend them to everyone. This Salon is very profesional and beautifully designed. I love the Paul Mitchell Products that they use, and purchase them from there everytime. They make it easy to replicate the styles that they do by explaining it as they go and recomending the right products for my specific hair type. This is a Paul Mitchell focus salon. That means that they only carry Paul Mitchell products and subscribe to the Paul Mitchell positive attitude. I am a hairdresser and won't let just anyone cut my hair. Terry, a Paul Mitchell educator and salon stylist, cut my hair. She quickly understood what I wanted and confirmed my wishes. I wanted to keep my length, but make the hair look wispy and add volume. She then began cutting dry, using methods I haven't seen at any salons I've been to. She gave me a relaxing shampoo, then cut wet. She then dryed, styled and refined the cut. She showed me how to achieve the look she gave me at home. I am very picky and am hard to please. But I absolutely love my cut. She was quick and sure. I really like the atmosphere here. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They treated me like a friend.
