Pretty Good 11/19/2010

I went in to get previous highlights over the past 3 years evened out. It seems that the first 3-5 inches of growth closes to my scalp which have been highlighted less are distinctly darker. We did a low light/high light combo partial wrap with helped improve but not completely even everything out. Probably another similar treatment, or full highlight or "bump" in addition to partial highlight should fix the issue. Also got a haircut which was fine; however for $60 it was over priced for the type of simple cut/trim that I received. Also since goin in for a highlight, I would have expected to get a bit of a price break on the two combined services since the service only required one shampoo, dry, style instead of 2 but the cost was equivalent to a full cut and partial highlight. more

Andrea was wonderful she actually added alot of style and lift to my hair that i hadn't had in my almost four years of visiting the salon. she asked alot of questions about my hair habits too and really paid attention. big great thanks! more

I love Salonamour! Moved to this area only recently and was blessed to find such a professional and amazing Aveda salon with such reasonable prices. I have had three different stylists work on my hair and all of them have been fabulous.Everyone has only given me good advice and been so very friendly. I would highly recommend this salon if you are into natural products and want a relaxing experience. more

Very Good except for the Wait 11/3/2010

I waited for 20 to 25 minutes. No one came to explain to me that I would have to wait or how long I would have to wait. Once my hairdresser was ready, it was very good. more

An intimate setting nestled in the heart of Walnut Creek. I look forward to my Salonamour' visits every time knowing that I will not only receive the highest quality products and service...but that I will be pampered, as well. I always leave the shop looking great and feeling VERY relaxed! more

Repeatedly disappointing 10/28/2010

I'm disappointed with two things: 1) the salon does not return calls to book appointments, 2) twice now stylists have charged me for items without asking or even informing me. The first time, I got charged for extra hair color and a clear gloss coating I didn't even know I got, and the 2nd time I got charged for toner on my too light highlights. The owner is extremely responsive and kind and when I complained about the toner, the charge was reversed. Honestly though, I think I've had enough. Going to the salon shouldn't be such a struggle. more
