I can't wait to go back and have another facial with Nicole. It was the best facial and one of the most relaxing experiences of my life. The studio was beautiful, the lighting perfect and Nicole was wonderful. My face got more attention than it has ever had - so many soothing creams, gentle exfoliation, extractions and purgings. AND THEN my shoulders and hands were massaged with a wonderful oil. It was heaven. I will be back. more

Farra not only does my hair, but she educates me on how to make my locks beautiful and strong after I leave. Teresa did my eyebrows for the first time last appointment and I will be back -- she was GREAT and even offered skin care tips after mentioning my skin was really dry and flaky. more

Every 2 months I have the works (bikini wax, eyelash tint, pedicure, highlighting and hair cut). (Of course I go in between as well.) With all of that - everything was perfect from the outcomes to the professional and friendly service. Love it. I have been going to Saloon 1800 since it was actually at 1800 N Clybourn which was a few blocks from where I lived. Now it's a 50 minute walk but I trust them, the service is excellent and consistent - its well worth the hike! more

I've been a Salon 1800 customer for long time, more recently a no-chip manicure 'regular'. This is an upgrade from a regular manicure that is definitely worth it. And the walk-in nail places (you know what I mean) charge the same amount for the no-chip. And you're not getting the same CLEAN professional environment and other benefits of a full service salon. more

Excellent! When I first arrived, I was nervous about the drastic cut I was anticipating. She reassured me it'd be fine to just consult that day (at length) and come back another day for the cut. She did a marvelous job following my lead on the type of cut I wanted, and tailoring it to my hair. Since my hair is thick, gray (but died) and kinky/curly, it was probably a technically hard cut to do. While I walked out a bit nervous, I knew I needed to style my hair on my own to see the full effect of the cut. My only negative comment is that the styled, walk-out-the-door version was not styled well. Not sure if I can explain well enough now but I mean I left with frizzy hair. If she had used more or the right product in my hair, it would've looked as good as it does today, now that I washed and styled my hair post-cut for the first time on my own. She did say that I needed to do that since I'd know my hair better than anyone else. Part of this might be due to the fact that she had spent so much time on me that she didn't have time to do more??? Also the cost of the cut is steep for me (so I hope I'll get coupons I can use for subsequent re-visits to Stephanie again!) Thanks. She does a great job with so much!! more
