Saigon's is great.... 11/29/2006

Checked it out last week. Excellent baguettes, crispy, thin crackly crust, hot from the oven, interior as light as a feather. Got two to go, and a grilled pork sandwich, delicious, all for 3.25. I was wondering if So Cal had any good baguettes and the answer is yes. I'll try Lee's and Mr Baguette to see how they stack up. more

Delicious, cheap sandwiches 12/28/2005

I always go to Saigon Sandwiches and Bakery when I am hungry and do not want to spend a lot of money. Most of their Vietnamese sandwiches are only $1.50. They also have 3 egg rolls for $1, which is great for a snack. Their fresh baguettes are really good, and if you buy 3 sandwiches, you get a baguette free. It always smells like fresh-baked bread at this bakery. more
