I was recommended to Jo' at Sachi by a stranger i met while shopping, and am ecstatic that this opportunity fell my way . As an ex-NYer who went to the best salons in Manhattan, I was concerned about finding a good stylist in Scottsdale. Jo' is an incredible colorist and hair stylist with a talent for knowing what color works for you and what hairstyle compliments your features. Since becoming his client, I have NEVER felt better about my hair. After each visit, I walk out elated. I am stopped all the time by both women and men who compliment my hair, and I have referred quite a number of people to him who agree that he is amazing at what he does (maybe it's that French technique). No one has been disappointed. I'm surprised he doesn't have his own salon, as everytime I am there, his other clients share their love for him. Each person's hair looks great, and you can tell they feel great in the way they carry themselves when they walk out the door. Jo' always makes you feel special and worth the extra effort. Im very picky when it comes to salons and since i just moved here from seattle, my friend recommended me there to her stylist LISA btu lisa was busy so insted they stuck me with someone else, CHAD. I think chad operates with the worst manners and he is very unprofessional. Once you get there, he is STILL working on loads of many other clients and trys to push time by working on you also. Basically one word describes how he operates"" self service"" you might as well sit at home and color,cut and dry your own hair since he has you doing your own hair with a 90 buck price tag!! and dont ever give your number to him. He will stalk you and write inapproprait texts messages! I know from experience and he stalks friends i know too. he should get fired. I am not from Scottsdale, but got a recommendation to Sachi so I assumed it was safe to get my highlights touched up there...wrong! I arrived at the salon and waited over 45 for my stylist, who had just begun another woman's haircut when I sat down. After she left, he made some rude comments about her and proceeded to fit other people in as my hair was processing. I was at the salon from 1:30 to 6:30pm. I was unhappy with the color when the stylist dried it. It was yellow-blond, not pale blonde that I requested. He then proceeded to cut my hair after it was dry (I'm assuming this was to save time), and then said he'd put some more low-lights in if I wanted. However, the salon was CLOSING, so I had to leave the salon with foils IN MY HAIR. He told me to stop at a beauty salon place on the way home and buy purple shamoo to ""get the yellow out."" He was completely unapologietic, and I had already paid $140 for the color plus a $40 tip prior to seeing my hair because the receptionists were going home, none of which has been returned. I really do not recommend this salon. My experience there has been the worse I've had BY FAR. I have spent over $300 trying to correct the problem. more

I thought I would try a new salon so I made an appointment. I left work early so I could be on time. I sat there for approx. 15 minutes and finally asked someone how much longer. While she was checking the hairdresser I had an appointment with peeked his head around the corner....he was getting his hair colored! So, I sat there for approx. 30 minutes because he had to get his hair done. When he brought me in the back he didn't apologize for being late. He said ""so what do you want to do today?"". I told him I'd been waiting 30 minutes, he said ""so, it's Thursday we're busy"". I couldn't believe his comment and told him he was rude. He told me I could leave, so I did. I left a message with the manager to discuss what happened, she didn't have the curtesy to respond. I have since found a great place right down the street. more

After taking a Mood Swing detour, I found this place. Highly recommended. They have nice people, experts and the posh pad is great to feel really comfortable. I liked the new stylist I had and she was so knowledgeable with hair color. I would recommend this Scottsdale salon - worth driving away from down town Tempe. Pros: Good Service more

Since when does a stylist get paid almost as much as a lawyer per hour? When I was asked to pay $50 for my half an hour haircut, I was a bit surprised. Okay granted, I'm from the midwest and I'm not used to upscale Scottsdale, but back come on! In my home state-downtown- I could always find an upscale salon that would only charge me around $30 for a cut. more

i was in scottsdale for the first time on vacation and found all the salons recommended by the hotels to be booked. i found sachi on citysearch and would highly recommend it. my sister and i had manicures by Dante for only $20 each and my mom had a great pedicure by Maryann for only $45 which is very rare here. my dad had a full hour massage by Steven and raved about it. The staff is super friendly, and the salon is top notch and sells great products. Pros: Inexpensive, Friendly, Professional Cons: none! more

I was recommened to sachi from this website and loved it so much that i am back!! I got an AWESOME cut from Erin. The salon was totally packed with fun stylists who seemed to definately know what they were doing and cool clients too....i was glad to be there! The price really wasn't bad either. I had a facial downstairs with Darleen. It was incredible! Great products, my skin felt like butter. She was sweet, funny but professional. It was like spending an hour with a friend she knew when to chat and when to stop and just let me enjoy. I felt like I had gone to a spa instead of being at an office. more

Ok, first I would like to say the girls at Sachi are absolutely F A B U L O U S. If you want an amazing hair cut and color ask for Erin. She will do you the right way. They offer it all from mist on tanning to botox. Sachi makes me beautiful. When I first went in I was a walk in, and they treated me like I have been going there years. I was amazed by the treatment I received at Sachi. I have been to salons before that are so institutionalized that you are only a number. At Sachi, I was treated with the utmost care and prestige. The atmosphere was great, the people were friendly, and Allison was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone for a cut, color, or whatever you may desire. I love my stylist, Jo, at Sachi. He is from France and amazing! I pay out the nose for my cut and color, but it takes a lot of $$ to keep me looking good. I would recommend him to anyone. more

The stylists rent booths, so the education each possess will be different. Many do both color and cuts which in my book is a place to avoid since they are each specialties. The most aggravating thing about the salon is the attitude. Most everybody frowns or has a bad demeanor. This includes the receptionists, assistants and tanning booth operators. They assume the worst. When I was early to my mist-on-tan I received a lecture for being late as the woman would not let me get a word in edgewise. I have tried them 4 times now and will not be returning. more
