Ruth's Chris Steak House Las Vegas East

Why is drowning a steak in a sea of butter considered a good idea? I did not like that presentation at all. There are many other places to get better steak and not have to pay an extra fee to get a potato or vegetable side dish or salad. I was shocked at how expensive a ""so-so"" meal can cost!! For my money, I would rather go to Lawry's. Or the Tillerman. Or Hugo's Cellar. more

Every Ruth's Chris Steak House I have been to (Manhattan, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Sarasota. . .) has been consistently great. I have never been disappointed in the filet, appetizers, vegetables, deserts, martinis. . .! Best of all, they NEVER butterfly a filet! more

Service was impecable! Atmosphere was intimate. Food couldn't be better! Special requests were eagerly honored. Presentation was a priority. more

Ruth's Chris is the most overrated steak house in town. The steak is average at best and the sides/dessert are mediocre. I would rather save my money and eat at an Outback anyday. more

I have only one complaint about Ruth's Chris: I don't get to come here as often as I'd like! We always have great food and service when we come to RC - we prefer the Paradise location best. The steaks are always cooked properly and are flavorful. The atmosphere is also very nice at their restaurants - a bonus. It's hard to go wrong here, if you have not tried it yet, I'd suggest you do so. Pros: Food, Service, Atmosphere more

I am fortunate to have a job that takes me to just about every corner of the world. I have eaten at many great restaurants at home and abroad and can advise Citysearch readers RC is the home of great steaks. There are other chains that can legitimately claim to have bright spots, Morton's comes immediately to mind. However, for consistency, I do believe RC's is very hard to beat. The food, service and the quality of their restaurants is extremely consistent. I have no reservations taking clients to RC's no matter what city I happen to be in. They are that good. The location on Paradise is no exception - I have gone there for several years and have never had a bad meal or less than great service.
