The plumbers worked diligently at my home in Charlotte until they were finally able to clear my sewer line. We are truly grateful for their professionalism and great work ethics.

They were able to fix our problem, so thank you. However, they were late and then called to see if we could reschedule. Then the next morning when they came they charged us $285.0...

Our serviceman did a great job, found the problem and made sure it was completely operational. We recommend Ron for any plumbing needs. WE are close to Charlotte and our plumber worked with us for the best service time. more

Cold Shower! 2/16/2011

We're running late for a wrestling tournament. I manage to get our three children up and ready to go at 7:00am on a Saturday. My husband comes out of the bathroom...no hot water. He runs around for almost an hour trying to get our pilot light on the hot water heater to stay lit, with no success. I take the children to the match as my husband jumps in the shower for a freezing cold shower early on a Saturday. Needless to say, he was not happy. We were unable to get hold of our normal plumber, so I picked Roto-rooter out of the phone book. They were extremely helpful on the phone, and indicated that they would have someone out within the hour. They called back about 30 minutes later to let me know that the technitian had been tied up at another job, but they would have someone out again within the next hour. I was extremely pleased that they called to keep me updated. About 30 minutes later, our technitian arrived, which actually happened to be the father of one of our wrestler more

Job well done 2/16/2011

My toilet was leaking water under the linoleum in my bathroom. I called roto-rooter and they came out and fixed the problem on the same day. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is because 45 minutes of work cost $300 in labor and $27 in parts. Seems a bit pricey to me. Other than that, I was very pleased with the service. more

my wife and i just purchased our first home in charlotte and were very anxious about how we would find a plumber to resolve a sewer line issue that cropped up. stan from roto-rooter could not have been more professional in handling the problem and explaining to us all of our options. i definitely recommend roto-rooter and would request stan if he is available more

The adage ""People do business with people"" defines my experience with Roto-Rooter. Our service representative was both courteous and knowledgeable, and before beginning any work reviewed my list of needs and suggested the most cost effective way to accomplish them. As he worked, he shared advice on ways to better maintain our plumbing, and left me with the feeling that he was never ""too busy"" to explain what could be of benefit to me. I consider the service I received as everything I could hope for, and then some. For plumbing needs in Charlotte, Roto-Rooter has my recommendation. more

I was very pleased with my Roto-Rooter service. Our technician was prompt, diligent, and polite. He diagnosed our problem immediately, and had it repaired within 30 minutes. He kept us abreast of his progress and explained everything he was planning on doing from the beginning. I will definitely suggest Roto-Rooter to all people needing plumbing assistance. more

Toilet repair 1/31/2011

My toilet had been leaking so I called Roto-rooter since they had excellent reviews. Gary fixed the leaking toilet and the intake hose. I thought he did an excellent job and was totally polite (which I consider to be very important.) I thought the price might have been a little high but I'd rather pay a little more and have it done exactly right by a professional-acting person. more

Excellent service from initial call to the 1-800 number through the resolution of my problem by Stan S. (whom I now consider my personal plumber!). Very polite, very efficient and thorough, Stan was able to get my leaky, rusted and silicone bound kitchen faucet off and my replacement one installed in short order. He inspected all the lines and connections under my sink as well, giving me advice about things to look for (I'm a 1st time home owner) and then asked follow up questions regarding a laundry drain problem I had experience a few months before when he first came out.\r \r I know I can rely on fair pricing, timely service and pride in workmanship when I call Roto-Rooter Plumbers. I've even referred my parents to them! more

Service was outstanding. From initial contact to job completion, every step of the process was handled in a very professional manner. The Technician - Stan - not only did an excellent job on rectifying the problem, but gave me pointers on how to avoid future problems and how to deal with them if they did occur. The Plumber, 263 Ronnie S, came out when I had a problem with my washing machine draining. He was very polite and professional and did an excellent job at taking care of my problem. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to my friends and I will use them for all of my plumbing needs. more

Great!!! 1/24/2011

I called RR at 4 pm, HAL arrived in less than 1 hr!!! Hal knew exactly what was wrong with my garbage disposal, prepared an estimate which I consider was very fair, solved the problem, and gave me advise on maintenance and keep up of the system...he even offered a product (enzimes) to help keep all drains and pipelines clean. more

The plumber who came was very nice and new exactly what he was doing. Best of all, I was able to make the appointment online and choose the time for him to come over. I'm very pleased and while I hopefully won't need to use Roto-Rooter again, I definitely will not hesitate to call them again if I need to. more

Replacement hot water heater Jan 2011 1/20/2011

The plumber was very informative on the options and pricing on replacing the tank and the upgrades needed to bring it up to current building code. I called at 7:30 and the tech was at my house before 10 and the complete job was completed by 1:00. more

Roto-Rooter for the win 1/18/2011

As a first time home-owner the expenses just keep on coming, so we were afraid of what it would cost to hire a plumber. Actually we put it off for months and just let a bucket catch the water leaking under our sink. We were also fearful of bringing a smelly, butt-crack sporting, greasy guy into the house. We couldn't let the problem go forever, so we called around and checked on prices. Roto-rooter charges nothing to come out and I'd heard good things from a neighbor so we gave them a shot. We were happy with our experience, happy with the price, and very happy with the outcome. Jeremy showed us the problem and explained exactly how and why it needed to be fixed. Unbeknownst to us, the disposal had been installed incorrectly before we bought the house and was leaking all over the wiring - a huge fire hazard. He was friendly and efficient and he even gave us some advice on some other problems we'd been having with our dishwasher. If we need a plumber again, we'll definitely call this Ro more
