I was very pleased with their service. They were able to give me a late evening appoitment. The repairman who came was friendly, and had everything in his truck to clear out my sewer trap, after the mess from hurricane Irene. There was a flat charge and the repairman snaked it 3 times and put new sewer plugs. I also got a six month guarantee!!! The technician also took the time to listen to me and explain how the sewer system works. Pretty cool. The technician JOHN also counter what another plumber said to replace the trap. John said , "no need to do so. The trap is fine." THANK YOU FOR BEING HONEST AND SAVING ME $4000.00 NEEDLESSLY. If you DO NOT USE ROTO ROOTER, YOU WILL BE SORRY. more

Fast service 8/1/2011

I was surprised at how fast and it easy it was, this morning my toilet backed up and would not flush. i went on line and in a matter of mins, i had an appt. John the tech called me and told me he was 30 mins away and before i knew it he was at the front door. From the moment he walked in i explained the problem and the next thing i knew the job was done. He was polite and very friendly i will call and ask for him again without hesitation should we ever have a problem in the future.. We were very satisfied.. Thanks again John.. more

A technician arrived within an hour, and worked on several issues for as long as it took to resolve them. There is certain benefit to calling an established company for plumbing service. The technician, John, did a thorough evaluation, then gave me a straight-forward estimation of what it would cost me. John went about addressing each problem, taking ample time, and paying attention to details. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service, and although I hope it will not be for a while, I will likely call Roto-Rooter again for plumbing-related services. more

Excellent Service 11/28/2009

In the past two weeks, I've called upon Roto-Rooter to two different plumbing problems that arose. In both instances, the plumbers arrived on time, assessed the situation, gave me a quote. The work was done in a professional manner, everything was explained to me beforehand and I was quite pleased with the work that was done. Happy with Plumbing Services 11/14/2009

I had a leaky shutoff valve which needed replacement. The plumber, Walter #4303, arrived exactly on time. Reviewed the situation with me. Listened to what I had to say. Gave me three options plus advising me of the difficulties involved. He tried the easiest solution first..which didn't work out...we went with the next easiest solution...which worked out great. Walter was efficient, explained exactly what he was going to do and did it, took care not to disturburb my possessions, and tried not to make a mess. I was quite pleased with the end result...which was to fix the leak to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this plumbing service. Pros: Reliable and Reasonable Cons: None more

Living Proof that Cheap is Expensive 7/3/2009

I had hired an inexpensive sewer cleaner to clean my sewer blockage. Not only didn't he do the job, but he got two snakes stuck in my sewer line ! He said that it was "impossible" to remove the snakes. There was something wrong with the drain thus the street and my porch had to be broken up and the sewer line opened an repaired. I was told that the job would be thousands of dollars. I called Roto-Rooter and they came twice and wouldn't give up till the snakes were removed. They saved me a great deal of money. A pleasure. Next time I will not call anyone else! Pros: Accomplished the "impossible' Cons: None more
