Roto Rooter RipOFF 4/20/2012

Unless you have deep pockets and really don't care about cost, whatever you do, do not call Roto Rooter for service. My wife was at my daughter's house in Bear taking care of her family while my daughter was on a business trip. While disposing of a bucket of dirty water in the toilet, she accidently dropped a rag into the toilet and it went the way of most things that go into the toilet. In a panic she called Roto Rooter to rectify the problem. They were there within the hour (11:30 AM), only the second call of the day. They spent fifteen minutes in the house, removed the toilet retrieved the rag from inside the toilet, replaced the toilet and handed her a bill for $355.00 and that included a $30.00 discount. My doctor doesn't charge me that for fifteen minutes. He didn't even get his hands dirty. I had to give them 1 star to have this review appear, it should be -5. Can you say extortion. more

Honest and Professional 2/10/2012

I called this company after being told by another company, that I would need to have my entire sewer line replaced. They were able to disprove this first recommendation, and offered me a much more affordable and comprehensive solution to the problem. They plumbers were very friendly, knowledgable, and arrived within the given time frame. I'll be calling them first for all my plumbing needs from now on! more

...and away my troubles went down the drain! 9/9/2011

I was dreading the call to the plumber to have my kitchen sink un-clogged. After battling with it on my own for three hours I threw in the towel and decided to hand the job over to the professionals. The first plumber I tried to schedule had the next available appointment in two days. Time to call Roto-Rooter. I called and within one (1) hour Dan Connors standing at my door. Dan was very professional in diagnosing the problem and outlined his plan of action. Dan provided me an up front cost and I gave him the ok. Dan began work ensuring that he was neat and conscientious of attention to detail. Dan snaked the drain, put the sink back together and provided some pro-active maintenance tips to me to help ensure that the sink(s) stay free and clear and I would not run into a similar problem down the road. Dan cleaned up after he made sure the sink was working properly and ensured that I was satisfied with the work. Dan was a very personable guy and represented Roto-Rooter extremely well.
