I had been corresponding with salesman William Harden via email and phone (minimal) the few weeks before our purchase. We were initially apprehensive due to recent recalls concerning the prius and decided to take advantage of a $1,000 Rosner Toyota Owner Loyalty discount. William is their Internet Sales Consultant and was very helpful without being ""overly attentive."" By overly, I mean he wasn't ""in-our-virtual face"" every second of the day. I preferred to conduct the entire transaction via email rather than on the phone, and of all the internet salespeople I'd contacted at other locations, William was the most email-centered. Basically, if I wanted to ""talk"" to salespeople, I would have called. The fact that I initiated my purchase via the net should have been a clue to the other sales-folk that I preferred this indirect mode of communication. Although William did contact my cell phone more than I liked him to, he responded to my text messages promptly, which was a huge plus in my book. In person, when we picked up the Prius, William was friendly, knowledgeable and quite humorous. William didn't push the add-ons and extras too hard (I expect a little push, so that's okay) and was kind to both my kids. He ended up staying 1 hour past closing time to make sure we were comfortable with our new 1/2 car - 1/2 computer vehicle. Bottom line, even though Rosner Toyota of Fredericksburg was an hour travel time from our residence, William's hands-off sales method won us over. I'd buy a vehicle from William Harden at Rosner Toyota again, without hesitation.
FYI: Time at the dealership was less than expected (particularly, due to our late night arrival) 1 hour 49 minutes. Also, we sent a $500.00 deposit 1-week prior to secure the purchase.
