It's fun at the Y M C A !! 9/27/2002

The YMCA and Aquatic Center on International Drive provides great facilities, including a training pool, olympic sized pool, diving pool, work out area, and various classes all included in their membership. There's free parking, great staff that are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, child care whilst parents work out and massages are available for an extra cost. Members also have the option of camps for their kids & these are at a very reasonable cost. The classes that are offered are taught by friendly professionals and the types of class change regularly. If you are interested in the workout/weights area, make sure that you ask for the tour. During the tour you are shown how to use the equipment effectively and efficiently. Why bother with other gyms that have high membership fees when everything's here?? Just remember that it's fun at the Y M C A .... !!! Pros: Excellent facilities, Knowledgeable staff, Great classes more

Courage. Drive. Determination. With these key elements, anything is possible. As you step into the Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center to improve your health and life, we hope you embrace these virtues as it is what got us through an extraordinary past and propels us toward a great future serving the community.

Despite our history going further back than 1992, that year marks when hardship forced the center to sink or swim. For a moment, our future looked dark until Harris Rosen, a prominent local hotelier and avid swimmer, turned activist for the aquatic center, saved this place. We are determined, now more than ever, to help improve the lives of our members and all who enter our aquatic and fitness center.
