The Best!! 1/14/2009

You have to love Rosemary's for lunch or dinner. Amazing menu and service. This little gem is tucked away, but worth the trip if you're visiting. You won't regret it. Mmmmmmm. more

Never tasted food with such enjoyment before my visit here 4/26/2008

I would say it is more of a dressy place. Was real impressed by wait staff. All I can say is I will be back when I come to vegas again. Pros: Staff waiting on you, presentation of food along with flavor, Superb! Cons: In a strip mall a distance from the strip. Kind of hard to find because site doesn't stand out from rest of strip. more

Simply Great 3/31/2008

There is not a lot more to say about Rosemary's -- the reviews below sum it up perfectly. This is a wonderful off-strip destination for any foodie visiting LV. The service is impeccable, the staff is warm and friendly, and the food is beautifully prepared and presented. My husband and I had the prix-fixe lunch ($23 each with the coupon on the website) and it was amazing. I had the beef and bleu cheese carpaccio, eggplant packets, and apple tart with cinnamon ice cream; my husband had the special salad (mesculun greens, smoked duck breast, goat cheese mousse rosettes, blackberries, mint gremolata, meyer lemon vinaigrette), soy-glazed beef medallions, and flourless chocolate cake. Each bite was delicious; you could taste the love in each dish. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Run to your telephone and make a reservation now. Your stomach and soul will thank you. Pros: fantastic service, great prix-fixe lunch deal more

Best Restaurant all around 2/27/2008

We recently had our 3rd year anniversary and choose to experience it at Rosemary?s Restaurant. Since we arrived we were greeted by name and our table was ready and service was very at tentative. I was amazed by the attention to detail. We enjoyed every thing about our meal with great pleasure. The recommendations from our server were great and very much appreciated. You really need to make it part of your trip or your occasion for fine dinning experience. Rosemary Restaurant is now part of our great memoral moments. Cheers!!! Pros: Great Food & Service Cons: None more

Foodie Heaven 1/19/2008

Make your reservation well in advance and skip the $60.00 round trip cab ride from the strip by renting a car for the day, and ending with a fabulous dinner at Rosemary's. We loved the service, high quality food and the best 1/2 bottle of wine we ever had. Each course was unique and delicous. WE WILL RETURN. more

Excellent service, Excellent ambiance, Excellent food 11/14/2007

In a town full of casino-backed, high concept celebrity chef restaurants, Rosemary's Restaurant stands out as a true Vegas original experience. The Arugula, Endive, & Radicchio Salad is a great starter dish. You can't go wrong with any of the entrees but always check to see what specials they have for the day... it's usually good stuff on the daily menu. They have this lemon tart dessert which is extremely tart so I wouldn't recommend it unless you really like a super strong tasting lemon bar. Overall, it's a great relaxing dining place off the main Vegas strip. Pros: The Food is Superb Cons: It's far from the strip for people visiting Vegas more

Nice find for the $ 10/19/2007

I went and had the lunch prixe fixe menu, and in all honestly, I feel I may have gotten a better idea of the place if I had the dinner menu. I thought the food was great for the price, the service wonderful, and I love that it's basically the nicest mom & pop place ever. The food was delicious- but nowhere near the best I've ever had or most inventive. I think they did a great job with their location and it's a must if you have access to a car, however, I would not go out of my way to go there by taxi. The shrimp appetizer is a must and their desserts are divine. If I lived in Vegas I would visit them for lunch probably on a weekly basis. In my opinion- If you are not a self-proclaimed foodie you will adore their food. If you are, you will appreciate their food and realize what a great value you received. I can't say enough about their service and the wonderful success of their restaurant- but I don't think it's "the best restaurant in Vegas" as many people claim. I do think it's by far the best value in Vegas if you have a car. Without a doubt, this was the best 30/person meal I have ever spent. Also, print out the coupon or check promos on their website They are very gracious about accepting a coupon. Pros: lunch prixe fixe at 22 dollars with a coupon more

Excellent New American cuisine 8/9/2007

Rosemary's is a truly superb fine dining experience! The food is at its highest quality and the waitstaff is just as amazing. If you decide to dine here, I suggest that you go for the whole sha-bang...get a few appetizers, next try one of their dinner salads or soups, move on to one of their absolutely delicioius entrees, and finally finish the meal off with a mouth-watering dessert (might I suggest the flourless chocolate cake). The whole restaurant is quite small but extremely romantic and beautiful. It is situated outside of the Las Vegas strip and believe it or not...it is stuck right n the middle of a strip mall next to a Stein Mart but please DO NOT let this location fool you! The outside is questionable but the inside is truly picturesque and the food is a whole other story! Quite an enjoyable experience! Oh and by the way, Rosemary's can get pretty expensive so might I suggest going on Wednesday nights (Ladies' night) the women get anything they order half price! Also Costco is currently selling Rosemary gift cards that are good for $100 a piece...you get three in a pack for a discounted price. So if you plan this just right eating here can be quite reasonable. I highly recommend this place for an off the strip, fine dining restaurant! Pros: Top of the line quality, romantic ambience, superb waitstaff, plenty of parking Cons: when the wonderful experience comes to an end more

favorite restaurant in Las Vegas 7/29/2007

This place has the best deal for lunch that can be found anywhere. Service is always fantastic and the food is excellent evrey time. Bluecheese coleslaw is unbelievable!!!! Forget eating on the strip this is the best in Clark County. Considering that the Strip is not in Las Vgeas even, contrary to popular believe, it is also Clark County. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know that is going to Las Vegas. Pros: best lunch deal ever Cons: none more

off the strip gem 7/1/2007

Well this discovery came by mistake by my girlfriend. We were looking for a decent restaurant to eat in Las Vegas. We saw this restaurant and decided to look into it. Well we dont regret ever discovering this restaurant. Yes it is off the strip but it is well worth it to get away from all the gaudyness of the strip. It is hidden and excellent. Once inside it is a different world than what is looks like outside. It is quiet and nice and dark to make it comfortable to eat. The staff is beyond courteuous that I was left speechless. Also the fact that they give the option to drink wine or beer with your meal and they will help you pair up you meal with your drink. Now once you look at the menu you can just close your eyes and point you will enjoy it. I had a steak that was so tender and so savory I have not had one since that I can compare it to. Yes it is a pricey restaurant but it will be worth every cent cause the second you leave you will want it again. Like me I have been wanting to go back to Vegas not to gamble but to eat at rosemarys. Pros: Food, Service, atmosphere and the drinks Cons: Just a little on the small side more

Simply the best! 5/16/2007

Me and my boyfriend decided to have our anniversary in Vegas. We live in Los Angeles and our decision was based on how LA'sfine dinning resturants can be pretenious and also a place on the strip can be "99 cent shrimp cocktails" nice or just as bad as LA. So we venture away from the strip. When you look at your map quest directions, please don't be worried, it's quite aways from the strip. And you'll find it in a shopping center next to steinmart. Once you go inside though...it's all worth the trip. I like how they pair beer as well as wine with the food which is good for a non-wine fan like myself. Their service is superb! It can be kinda crowded in there because it's a small facility but the food makes up for it. I can't wait to go back to Vegas so we can go to Rosemary's again. Me and my boyfriend day dream about it all the time. Pros: food and service Cons: small and far but well worth it! more

WHAT CAN I SAY THAT HAS NOT BEEN SAID BEFORE!!! OUTSTANDING! 11/7/2006

everybody who go's to vegas has to try this place, sure it is about a 15min ride down w sahara but you will not regret it. world class food, creative breads!! a great bread basket! one of the best soups i have ever had(corn soup to die for!)half price wine on sunday nights! the chef is a old emril lagasse protege, with that down home new orleans flavors are all through the menue, great service, great value, there is a lot more to vegas than the strip, get in your car and go!!! Pros: excellent quality, great service Cons: a little off the strip more

Superb! 11/3/2006

This restaurant is a perennial winner in the Best of Las Vegas poll and was accorded a AAA 3 Diamond rating in 2006. We had called ahead and the first available seating was at 8:15PM. Unbeknown to us Wednesday is Ladies night where all ladies only tables receive 50% off their entrees plus happy hour prices all night long. Several ladies at nearby tables seemed to be very happy, very happy. We each received a complementary dollop of whitefish (tunafish?) salad on a crouton. Our entrees were honey Creole mustard glazed salmon served with a watercress sweet onion salad, spiced pumpkin seeds and a butternut coulis. At the conclusion of dinner we received a small plate with complimentary chocolate and peanut butter truffles they were out of the delicious lemon ones damn. Like a perfect spouse, a perfect meal is hard to find and I have managed to win the quinella. more

Wonderful food and service, but horrible location 10/26/2006

It was worth the LONG drive out to Rosemarys. Wonderful menu and service. Best bartender in town while we waited for our table. Disappointed in strip mall location. Expecting a stand alone building. Pros: Menu and Service Cons: Location more

Compared to Picasso and LaCirque.... 8/15/2006

I have had the tasting menu (with wines) at Picasso and LaCirque (on consecutive nights)...so I had to see if Michael Jordan was close.....OK, he wasn't...HE WAS FAR SUPERIOR!!! This man can really create....both visually and as an extraordinary taste (and matching wine). The casual setting belies the seriousness of the food...but the service tells you that from the kitchen to the table, this man keeps a "tight ship"...the only thing better would be at a "Chef's table" where I am watching him create these masterpieces. From this point on...and I am moving to Vegas...all important meals (and then some) will be at Rosemary's. PS...I understand that Wendy (his wife and partner) is away teaching culinary artistry....don't worry...her signature Texas appetizer: BBQ shrimp on a bed of bluecheese coleslaw was PERFECT!!...and, thank goodness it was served with the tasting menu (my wife had it as an appetizer and I swear that I saw her licking the plate!). Pros: Food (brilliance), Service (knowledgable), Ambience (comfort) Cons: None...take the cab anyway more

Fabulous food, great service, wonderful ambience! 6/28/2006

After a wonderful evening at Joel Robuchon, we were a little concerned that Rosemary's would not measure up. Oh, boy were we wrong! Even without reservations, we were seated immediately upon arrival, the service was quite attentive. We ordered the 5-course tasting menu, which was divine. We considered the 5-course with wine, but decided to be teetotalers for the evening instead. They serve some excellent Republic Of Tea iced teas. We specially requested that they switch the dessert on the pre fixe meal with the dessert of the day(cherry cobbler with cinnamon ice_cream), and they had no problem with that at all. We will definitely be returning to Rosemary's when we aren't rushed (by show tickets). Pros: Fabulous food, wonderful service, easy parking Cons: WAY off the strip. more

Fantastic 10/20/2005

When you pull into the strip mall, you may be wondering what all of the great reviews are about. But once in the restaurant, you will realize what it is all about. Service is great and the food is even better. The have an excellent wine list and a very helpful sommelier. Appetizers, entrees and desserts are consistently interesting and innovative. It is a great value as well. Make the trip to w. sahara, you will be happy you did. Pros: Food, service, wine Cons: none more

Never a let down! 8/18/2005

Having tried many of our fine local restaurants, Rosemary's continues to be a breath of fresh air. You'll never be attended to any better than here. You'll never have someone look down their nose at your one glass of wine, or prix-fix menu. You are treated with the utmost respect, even if you are of a younger crowd. The food is unforgettable. At most restaurants you can exect to pay around $250 for two for this type of meal, but at Rosemary's you can indulge even more for close to $100. The other night, it was my fourth time having dinner at Rosemary's and I'm still impressed and will go again soon with my friends. They also have an amazing wine list and not just cheap wines on their "by the glass" list. They have fantastic art on the walls by our local artist, and the ambiance is soothing. Pros: Price, Ambiance, Food Cons: NONE!! more

This is not an oasis! 8/12/2005

Wanting to find the best restaurant in town without spending a small fortune I decided on Rosemarys. After a $25 cab ride (ouch) from the strip to the restaurant I arrived. I started off with a free tasting (asparagus bread pudding) from the chef. Nice touch! I had the goat cheese stuffed figs for an appetizer (WOW that was good) and the halibut with a mustard butter sauce for my entree. I finished with the Lemon Icebox pie w/ raspberry sherbet. It was a perfect ending to a great meal. The wait staff was attentive and the atmosphere was very romantic with a nice view of the kitchen. When the bill came I was very happy as it was about ? of what you might pay on the strip. Although its not walking distance from anywhere on the strip its definitely worth a cab ride! 9.9/10 Pros: Food, Service, Price Cons: Location more
