I haven't been in so long so decided to give it another go. The food all tasted the same which was just... BLAH. No authenticity or technique. It's a Shame because the restaurant itself is spacious and nice and everyone there was super friendly.  Don't waste your time more

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The place is filthy, service is subpar and the food tastes microwaved. There is no authentic flavor and everything tastes processed and reheated. Drinks are ok, if you can get a refill that is with the bad service. AVOID at all costs. more

Our night out at Rosalita's was a DISASTER. We decided to sit on the outside patio to enjoy the South Florida weather; it took 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. When our server finally arrived with our drinks, he dropped the tray and spilled the drinks all over my boyfriend's clothes. The server did not offer us free drinks, or even a towel to clean up the mess. About 15 minutes later, the Manager came to our table and noticed the spilled drinks on the floor and asked if we were ok. We stated we were fine, except for the spilled drinks on my boyfriend; again, she did not offer a free round of drinks or any other "normal" reaction to spilled drinks on a patron, but she did rub my boyfriend's shoulders, which seemed awkward and unwanted. We ordered Nachos Grande as an appetizer and when it arrived, it was about 15 burnt chips covered in "beef" that smelled/tasted more like hot dogs. It was TERRIBLE. When our food arrived, we were all disappointed by the taste; our server returned one time to check on our table and did not provide us with refills on our drinks. $59 for 3 meals and an appetizer seems steep to me, especially considering the terrible service, poor food quality, and boring atmosphere. more

This place is filthy. Dryed food on table. We asked to be reseated, new table, same thing. Walked Out, never went back. more

If you like Mexican food, then forget about this place. It's a Floridian's distorted view of what Mexican food is like (emphasis on DISTORTED). I have never seen food with such an identity crisis! To call it Mexican food would be a travesty. To call it good would be shameful. Taco Bell is more authentic than this place. more

Food was fine, service was crap - waiter disappeared after bringing our plates at the table. Took longer to get check and pay then it did to be seated, order and eat. Wont go back. Nothing special here. more

This place of the biggest disappointments. Food is subpar at best. If your looking for authentic Mexican food, the taco stand at Lake Worth Road and Military Trail is your best bet. more

Always good 9/29/2007

If you want, good service, good food, good drinks, good ambiance - this place has it. I've eaten here regularly ( 1 or 2 times a month) for about fifteen years now. I have yet to be dissapointed. \r \r The menu selection is pretty wide. But, I just can't get away from the three or four things I like so much on it, so haven't actually experimented much. They bake their own chips and they taste great. The dip sauce isn't hot - but they will gladly bring the hot green stuff if you ask. I mix it with the red stuff and dip in that, then pour it over the food when it comes. \r \r Located conveniently, just west of Congress Ave. on the north side of Lantana Road. Parking is good. They always greet us at the door and, if fact, nearly always hold the door for us when we arrive.\r \r Most visits I have seen the owner walking around greeting diners and helping out where she is needed. She could easily afford to be elsewhere I'm sure - but her personal attention is one of the things which makes the plac more

Mexican Food in Lake Worth 6/7/2005

Rosalita's has great margaritas, but falls short in the food department. They offer typical Mexican fare - rice and beans and fajitas - but the food is uninspired. Try the spinach quesidillas for a nice change of pace. PROS: easy parking CONS: more
