Roger's Roost

This place is just too cool and they have all the makings for a night of belly aching laughter!!! Based on the famous 50's diner it is laden with relentless surprizes. Our family went out for pizza and came home with lots of memories. Here's the thing...In the women's bathroom is this tall Indian statue with a piece of cloth over it's loins (this is true and no joke). Well if a woman pulls it up to look under it sirens go off in the restaurant where everybody knows what you did while you were in there. Immediately this sets off a thunder of Laughter and whisperings and finger pointing as you return to your table from the ladies room. Well you can imagine how many times those sirens went off while we were eating; don't tell me women aren't curious (LOL)! What's great is to bring someone who has never been there. And yes, the food is pretty decent, too! more

Rogers Roost is a great fun place to take your kids, grandparents, friends and maybe even a date. It has a bar which is separate from the dining side. It is a nostalgic fun place. It has old memorabilia hanging from the walls and ceiling. When you come in with children they are given a balloon and encouraged to go sit in the old fire truck. They can sit in the drivers seat or just crawl around on it. Every table is given freshly popped popcorn just for fun, and it's pretty tasty. They have great food, fun, a live band on occasion, and on Friday they even have a Magician. They have Banquet facilities also. My favorite is the Chicago Style Pizza but they have meals such as Bab-B-Q ribs, fish-n-chips, NY steaks, Maine lobster and a special menu for children. Young or Old, you will love it! more
