When we moved here in 2010, Wendy was a great employee who was anxious to help and friendly, a little dingy, but a pleasant person. The application process makes you think your applying to live at the White House, with a credit check and references and all. But truth be told, by the time we moved out two years later, it slowly became a slum. They let anyone live there. Our neighbors below us had their apartment broken into and their car vandalized, I dont think they'd hurt a fly as they are seniors and devout christians. Our electrical socket near the door sparked on us and when we asked them to call an electrician Vanessa (you can't miss here she's quite huge) berated my 4 month pregnant wife telling her it was not a safety issue. Mind you, theres only one way in and out of the apartments unless you expect pregnant women and a mother in law with MS to hop off a second floor porch. When I went to the office to talk to the very big Vanessa, she would not give me her supervisors name so I could go above her, then threatened to call the police on me because I insisted on her supervisors name and number. \r
As Karina stated, they will bicker with you about your security deposit, and consider a carpet, which we steam cleaned twice in the 2 years we lived there, to be damaged rather than used. They did however mail us a check for 158 dollars, 3 months after we moved out. California laws states they need to do that in 21 days. The counter tops do stain terribly as they are porous, and the pain chips pretty easily. The maintenance dept started off well, but declined rapidly when Vanessa the really big rude girl got there with Deanna,( who told us we were going to get a full refund on our deposit, then suddenly didnt work there when we called about it after we moved.) By the way, our A/C filter t was clogged with dust and I vacuumed it out since it ""wasnt due for for replacement. THEY COST 1.98 AT HOME DEPOT! \r
Greystar managment should really be disappointed in the people they have working there in the office. But word has it they also don't care much about complaints. On a plus side the apartment styles and grounds are nice. Just lock your doors and pay for a security system (out of your pocket) for your sake.
