After work happy hour!!!! 7/14/2011

I had a really hard day at work, and all that got me through it was the thought I get to go to Riverside for happy hour with my hubby and relax have some drinks and some good food. Well I wish I had a lot of great things to say, but our ""home made chips"" taste as if they were burned. The pulled pork sliders, people put some kind of sauce on those dry things, oh my you could call them tree bark sliders!!!!!! The drinks we really tasty, was easy to get the tree bark down. I would go there just to drink, we were going to eat dinner there, but what was served to us was how you start the meal I didn't want to see what dinner would be like...Sorry a D- the only thing that saved you from the F was the drinks!!! more

SMALL PORTIONS 4/26/2009

When I found out that the regular portion came with 4 ravs and 3 shrimp, I ordered the ""double"" and was told it comes wit 8 ravs and 6 shrimp. When It arrived it contained 7 ravs and 4 shrimp. Come -on the economy is bad but I feel it is gonna get worse at this place. Also the bread came 3/4 of the way rthrough our meal, with a small silver cup with about a 1/2 t-spoon of butter. At least we had a huge laugh. The food was very good, i think the manager is counting the food as it goes out. This place is not cheap. Pros: Good Food Cons: Poor Service more

good ambiance, good food, small portions 1/27/2009

came here for the first time on a saturday for lunch. was very hungry and left still a bit hungry. food was good but portions were a bit small. menu will give options of solo or double order. thought solo meant for one person and double meant for 2. if you're hungry go for the double order. service was nice... bar looked fully stocked. tv screens with college basketball playing was a pleasant bonus Pros: ambiance, tasty, lively Cons: small portions more

Wow!!! 8/4/2005

Coming here, I had no idea what to expect. I used to patron the dingy old Herferd House when I was younger, and I was expecting something along those lines. BOY WAS I WRONG! I walked in and was immediatly greeted by the staff. I asked to be on the patio and they totally accomodated me. They food was amazing. I had the Ahi Tuna as a starter and finished by having their salmon. WOW! All I can say is I'll be back. Pros: Great food, Very nice patio, hip scene Cons: parking, food is addictive more

Pricey - Good 6/18/2005

Call for the fine print on Thursday night appetizers. There are only a few discounted items and only after 9PM. Drinks and food were good. My throat was sore after speaking loudly over dinner in the bar booths, very loud. Firside dining with the waterfall outside looks fun. My g/friend thought the appetizer menu lacked variety. Too much had seafood (rock shrimp, calamari, etc) or was stuff you find everyother place. The house steak speciality served with 4 different things, was good but rather expensive for $25. Sangria was good. Volcano cake was the bomb! Pros: Drinks, Atmosphere Cons: Price, Loud, Variety more

WHAT A GREAT PLACE! 4/28/2005

We were a large group. The staff did a fantastic job. The food was great. The price of the food was amazingly low. Our waitress was so good, she actually interacted with us as if she was part of our party. That made it fun. The Service B's gave it five high heals out of five. Good Work! Pros: Great Staff, Great Food, Great Value Cons: We could, not find, any cons more

Seriously Good 10/15/2004

This place is seriously good and fun. The appetizers are superb, and the entrees, although small in appearance, are rich and filling. If you have a big appetite, full up a little more on the bread ahead of your meal, or better yet, order the spinach and artichoke dip. Pros: unique drinks, urban decor, fun social spot more
